We join with you in lifting up Skylar before the throne of grace, trusting in the Lord's goodness and sovereignty over her life. It is encouraging to see a parent who is encouraging a faith foundation in the next generation. We are confident that, as you have acknowledged, the Lord has seen her efforts and He cares for her. In _Jeremiah 29:11_ WEB it says For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
As Skylar awaits her exam results, we pray that the Lord will grant her peace and patience, knowing that His plans for her are far greater than any earthly success. Remember the words of _Proverbs 3:5-6_ WEB Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. This is a wonderful opportunity for Skylar to draw closer to the Lord and strengthen her faith, regardless of the outcome.
We also pray that Skylar will always find her value and identity in being a beloved child of God, not in her academic achievements or any other worldly measure. As it says in _Ephesians 2:10_ WEB For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them. As parents we can help guide her focus on these good works. Psalm 139:14 tells us I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. We are grateful for that reminder as Skylar goes through these tests.
We are thankful to see that she is willingly being tested, unlike many who try to avoid challenges. Much like metals that are made stronger in the furnace and purified in the process, Skylar will only be stronger after these exams.
We give Him praise readily for His love, guidance, and faithfulness. Jesus Christ gave her the ability to learn this material and complete the exams. We are grateful for that as well. We are also remembering her school as they certainly have contributed to her opportunity to grow her knowledge. We give all the praise and glory to Jesus Christ for every aspect of Skylar's life including her school success.
You have struggled and shown determination in teaching her along the way. You, as well as Skylar, are in our prayers at this time of challenge too. We pray that the peace and patience and faith we prayed for Skylar will also overwhelm you as well.
Finally, we are in agreement with you that Jesus Christ is Lord and that the Lord's will is at hand in Skylar's situation. We appreciate your prayer ending "In Jesus Name". His Name is above every Name. Thank you for including and believing in the power and sincerity of including His Holy Name in our prayers. As mentioned in Colossians 3:17 _WEB_
"Whatever you do, in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father, through him."
Jesus' Name is the only Name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12 _WEB_) Do not resist believing in His Holy Name.
It is our prayer that this experience and this time in prayer will draw both you and Skylar closer to the Lord and strengthen both of your faith.
Thank you for bringing her to us in prayer.
