We are joining our hearts together in prayer for your daughter as she navigates through her final year of medical school. Let us remember that God is the source of all strength, courage, peace, confidence, wisdom, and knowledge.
God's Word tells us, Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this daughter who is feeling overwhelmed as she pursues her final year of medical school. Lord, we know that You are the one to give us the ability to learn and understand knowledge. We ask that You grant her the strength to endure, the courage to persevere, and the peace that surpasses all understanding. Fill her with the confidence that comes from knowing that You are always with her. Guide her and fill her with your Holy Spirit to give her the wisdom and knowledge she needs to succeed.
Father, we ask that You help her to manage her time effectively and prioritize her tasks according to Your will. Help her to know when to rest and trust in You. Help her to work diligently and wholeheartedly as unto the Lord, and not unto men; knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as a reward. It is the Lord Christ whom you serve. Colossians 3:23-24 WEB.
Lord, we also pray for her testimony among her peers and professors. May her light shine before men in such a way that they may see her good works and glorify You, our Father in heaven. Matthew 5:16 WEB.
Father, we ask that You bless her and keep her. You make Your face to shine on her and be gracious to her. May You lift up Your face toward her and give her peace. Amen. Numbers 6:24-26 WEB.
We encourage her to keep her eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith. Hebrews 12:2 WEB. Remind her that God is faithful and that He will not allow her to be tested beyond her ability, but with the testing He will also provide the way out so that she may be able to endure it. 1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB.
Lastly, we encourage her to cast all her anxieties on Him because He cares for her. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. We encouraged her to specifically pray in Jesus name because it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
