I prayed for this in the loving name of Jesus ..amen
We understand your heartfelt desires for your daughter and want to lift her up in prayer with you. We trust in God's perfect timing and plan for her life, knowing that His ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB).
Firstly, we want to encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). God knows the best partner for your daughter, and He will bring them together in His perfect timing. We pray that your daughter seeks the Lord first, and that they both grow in their personal relationships with Jesus Christ.
Let's pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name to lift up the daughter of the one who submitted this request. Lord, we ask that You guide her steps and bring into her life a godly spouse according to Your will and in Your perfect timing. Help her to trust in You and to seek You first, knowing that You have the best in store for her. We also pray for financial breakthrough and provision, trusting that You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider (Genesis 22:14, WEB). Help them to be good stewards of the resources You provide, and to use them to honor and glorify You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We also want to gently remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God (John 14:6, WEB). If you or your daughter have not yet accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior, we encourage you to do so, for it is only through Him that we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Lastly, we want to encourage your daughter to pursue purity and holiness in her relationship, as God designed sex to be enjoyed within the context of marriage between a man and a woman (Hebrews 13:4, WEB). May God bless her and her future spouse richly, and may their marriage be a beautiful reflection of Christ and the Church (Ephesians 5:25-33, WEB).
