Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Avaak's daughter-in-law and grandchildren who are facing a social services hearing tomorrow. Lord, we know that You are the ultimate Judge and that You hold the hearts of all men in Your hands. We ask for Your divine intervention and guidance in this situation.
Your Word reminds us in Psalm 82:3-4, "Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed. Rescue the weak and the needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked." We pray that You would defend and uphold the rights of Avaak's family during this hearing. Give them favor in the eyes of the authorities and grant them wisdom and clarity to present their case.
Lord, we ask for Your peace to surround Avaak's daughter-in-law and grandchildren during this challenging time. Comfort their hearts and calm any anxiety or fear they may be experiencing. Remind them of Your promise in Isaiah 41:10, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand."
We also pray for the social services professionals involved in this case. May they act with fairness, compassion, and wisdom, considering the best interests of the children involved. Soften their hearts and open their minds to see the love and care within Avaak's family.
Lord, we trust in Your sovereignty and Your ability to work all things together for good. We surrender this situation into Your hands, knowing that You are able to bring about a positive outcome. We pray for a favorable resolution that will reunite Avaak's family and bring them closer to You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
