We thank you all for pray for our dad. Pray that God continues to work in his heart and makes him kind and loving towards our mom. Please pray that he is free from unforgiveness, hatred, and self-righteousness. Pray that he lets go of all the grudges against people and opens his heart to Jesus’s love. He still spends most of his time reading the Bible and praying, yet he seems so unhappy and angry most of the time. But by God’s grace, his health is improving. Please pray that God uproots all the hatred he has, and the Holy Spirit works in him so that he may be a blessing to all. Pray that he uses his time to do something meaningful and constructive. Pray that the blood of Jesus cleanses his heart and purifies it. Pray for a healthy, happy, and prosperous life with my mom. Pray that he learns to appreciate and respect her always. Pray that he is emotionally more mature. Thank you all. God bless all of you.

We understand your concern for your dad and we join you in prayer, seeking God's will for his life. Let us remember what the Scriptures tell us in Ephesians 4:31-32 (WEB), "Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."

Firstly, we thank God for your dad's improving health and his time spent in God's Word and prayer. Now, let us pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your continued work in our dad's heart. We pray that You soften his heart and fill him with Your love, kindness, and forgiveness. We ask that You help him to let go of all unforgiveness, hatred, and self-righteousness, and to open his heart fully to Jesus' love.

Lord, uproot all hatred and bitterness in him. Let the Holy Spirit work mightily in his life so that he may be a blessing to all, especially to our mom. Help him to use his time wisely for meaningful and constructive purposes. We ask that the blood of Jesus cleanses and purifies his heart.

Father, we pray for a healthy, happy, and prosperous life for our dad and mum. Help him to appreciate, respect, and love her always. Let emotional maturity and growth be evident in his life.

Finally, we pray that our dad experiences the joy of the Lord, and that this joy strengthens him and his relationship with our mom. In Jesus' precious name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your dad, trusting that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20 WEB). It makes me so sad that he is holding on with unkind thoughts to the grudges he has. He needs to ask Jesus to release and forgive him from these thoughts, our Lord is a forgiving God! I pray that Jesus will send his angels to protect your mom from any hurt she may experience. Our God will cleanse his heart!
