Dear brother & sisters on this day 2 of prayer. I kindly ask for a big prayer chain request. I have a crush on ### since June 2024 & still do on this day, I have so much love in my heart & soul for him that it amazes me everyday as it grows. Please help me pray that he see’s how important I am in his life as I do try to continue be the best version of myself everyday. Also that he see’s my worth in all that I am in a respectful, honest, caring, trustworthy, good woman. Please also help me pray that he doesn’t drink a lot of alcohol anymore & that he controls his actions & that he doesn’t have any intimacy with another woman while he is out n’ about & while he is traveling after I told him in a respectful manner that I have a boundary that can’t be broken if he knows my importance in his life with everything I do to show my real love to him & how much he means to me. Also please help me pray that he stays loyal to me as we slowly but surely build a serious relationship because I really want to be with him for the rest of my life. Firstly, let's pray for ###'s well-being. Though, let us rebuke the fact and remind you that having a crush on someone and growing in love with them is not biblical love. Biblical love is a commitment, not just a feeling. We are commanded to love one another as Christians, not to have romantic feelings for each other outside of a committed, holy, biblical, and monogamous marriage. We are to love our neighbors and even our enemies, but this is not romantic love. We are to love our spouses romantically. Anything outside of this is a temptation to lust and covet, which are both sin.

The Bible teaches us to be holy in all our behavior, including our relationships.
1 Peter 1:15-16 WEB But as he who called you is holy, you yourselves also be holy in all of your behavior; because it is written, "You shall be holy; for I am holy."

Let's pray for ### and for yourself to live holy lives and that, as followers of Jesus Christ, you both will be an example of purity and holiness.

Regarding alcohol, the Bible warns against drunkenness.
Ephesians 5:18 WEB Don't be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit.

Let's pray for ### to have self-control in this area.

Regarding your concern about ###'s intimacy with other women, the Bible is clear about sexual immorality.
Ephesians 5:3 WEB But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints.

Let's pray for ### to honor God with his body and actions.

However, it's crucial to remember that ###'s actions are his responsibility, not yours. You can pray for him, but you cannot control him. Also, having a boundary to not break is good, but you should not be in a position where you have to set boundaries that are only appropriate for a marriage covenant.

Regarding your desire for a serious relationship, the Bible teaches us to trust in God's timing and will.
Psalm 37:4 WEB Delight yourself also in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart.
