We understand that you have been waiting for an appointment as a craft teacher in your hometown since 2018, and we want to lift this situation up in prayer with you. We appreciate and agree with you ending your request with "in Jesus Christ, name Amen" as it is only through the name of Jesus that we can come to God the Father, be saved, and ask for His help.
Waiting for a job can be challenging and stressful, and as believers, we must always check our views on career goals as God may have a different plan. We should make sure that the importance of a job does not give it too much emphasis in our life. The foremost priority for Christians by Jesus is to seek the kingdom of God.
So do not be anxious about tomorrow; for tomorrow will care for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Matthew 6:34 WEB
However, our work is important to God since it is a service to Him and His kingdom as our work supplies our needs and others. Our careers may lead others to Christ or even support Church members. Our work may be disruptive to God's will if it gives us little or no ability to obey God, gives us bad desires, promotes evil, refusing to give us the day of rest, etc. In addition, some jobs may directly disobey God's commands. We are assuming that a craft teacher does not override God's will and you are able to tithe and support God's kingdom as a good steward of His gifts including praying and attending Church.
Let us strive to use our careers to serve the Lord in whatever we do, not just to pursue personal ambitions or merely a larger paycheck.
Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might; for there is no work, nor plan, nor knowledge, nor wisdom, in Sheol, where you are going. Ecclesiastes 9:10 WEB
We are encouraged to see your desire to work in your hometown and to teach which can educate the next generations, share the Gospel of Jesus Christ, and make disciples of Jesus Christ.
Behold, children are a heritage of Yahweh. The fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows in the hand of a mighty man, so are the children of youth. Happy is the man who has his quiver full of them. They will not be disappointed when they speak with their enemies in the gate.
Psalm 127:3-5 WEB
However, we are assuming that the crafts you teach conform to God's will and to His creation rather than deforming and perverting it. We are assuming that your crafts and teaching still encourage manhood and womanhood since God created them this way in His image and not fluid or randomly without any specific objective intention. Any crafts promoting horror, the occult, sexual perversion, or encouraging dishonor to parents, murder, theft, transgression of marriage, coveting, or a rejection of God should not be taught to children. A craft should promote beauty, joy, happiness, uplifting virtue, and a demonstration of arighteous creation of God. A craft should not be a form of worshiping other gods and spirits. A good craft can exist in God's original creation and be pleasing to Him. If a craft is not pleasing to God, then it is easier to understand why God may delay your placement into teaching the craft.
The Ephesians were known for their occult practices, and it is important to note how they conformed to Christ:
Many of those who had believed came, confessing, and declaring their deeds. Many of those who had practiced magical arts brought their books together and burned them in the sight of all. They counted their price, and found it to be fifty thousand pieces of silver.
Acts 19:18-19 WEB.
Let us pray together for God's purpose in your career and for Him to manage the timing:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Usha to You. Lord, we know that it has been 5 years since she qualified as a craft teacher. Your timing is perfect, and we trust in Your will for her life.
Lord, it is our prayer that You lead and guide her to instructions where her talents can promote Your glory, holiness, and beauty. Please direct Usha to good and upright teachers emulating your righteousness and holiness. Let her be in continuous prayer and fellowship with You that she may clearly discern Your will and for Your glory.
If it is Your will, Lord, open the doors for the craft teacher position in her hometown. However, Your word tells us to make it our ambition to lead a quiet life, to mind our own business and to work with our hands, just as You commanded us so that our daily life may win the respect of outsiders and so that we will not be dependent on anybody.
In the meantime, help her to serve You in the places where she currently can as You lead her to a craft teaching position You. We pray stamina, patience, and trust for Usha.
I pray this in Jesus' name. Amen.
