We understand that you have been patiently waiting for an appointment to the craft teacher post in your own town. We join you in prayer, asking God to guide and direct this situation according to His will as well as help you to grow in character and faith through this experience. Remember in the Bible Jesus taught us if we have as much faith as a seed that we can move mountains like this one that you are struggling with. However remember the teachings causing no offenses and causing problems for your leaders in Romans 13. Here is our prayer and advice.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ. This is vital because as it is written in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. and as it is written in John 16:23-24 WEB In that day you will not ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask the Father in my name, he will give it to you.
Ask yourself if in your commitment to this position you are seeking your own glory or God's? Is His plan for you to be a teacher at this school, or does He have another path for you?
In this difficult job search and waiting time know that God works in His own timing. We must seek his righteousness rather than our own selfish needs. Rather know that if boasting can happen it should happen in the knowledge of God rather than boasting about yourself or your own deeds. This is written in Jeremiah 9:23-24 23 WEB Yahweh says, "Don’t let the wise man glory in his wisdom. Don’t let the mighty man glory in his might. Don’t let the rich man glory in his riches. 24 But let him who glories glory in this, that he has understanding, and knows me, that I am Yahweh who exercises loving kindness, justice, and righteousness in the earth, for I delight in these things," says Yahweh.
God loves when we seek after him fully rather than fully committing ourselves and identifying with subject matter of this earth. When we commit ourselves to worldly things we are creating false idols in our life.
The principalities and powers that be are in control of these decisions and we must respect those decisions even if it seems like no decision is being made. We must respect our authorities as it says in Romans 13:
1 WEB Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God.
2 Therefore he who resists the authority withstands the ordinance of God; and those who withstand will receive to themselves judgment.
3 For rulers are not a terror to the good work, but to the evil. Do you desire to have no fear of the authority? Do that which is good, and you will have praise from the authority,
4 for you will receive from the authority since he is a servant of God.
Understand this and live within these decisions; however, seek God and pray. In addition to your prayers, remember to act. Faith without works is dead therefore continue to apply for positions, expand your skill set, and be open to God's leading as well as the leading by the authorities that God has put in place. Trust that God has a plan and a purpose for you as it says in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
