Prayer for my children, LaToya Powell, Florissant, MO

"My two younger kids (2yr old and 7yrs) have been getting raped almost every night in the last year and a half. The police gave me court orders that put my kids in foster care after I attempted to turn in evidence of the rape. They never took the evidence and I can not get custody of them until I stop saying that they were raped per the Childrens Services worker. Now the abusers have followed my kids to their foster home and it still happening. My kids guardian is unaware that the home is being broken into and is in denial of the abuse. The men have AIDs, HIV, and syphilis and no one is listening. My kids have not been to the doctor and my 6 yr old's teeth were knocked out during one of the home invasions. Their lives needs saving. The devil has been working through the people who have me and my kids lives in their hands. Please help. My daughter has autism and is nonverbal. I need help with getting her help. The abusers have powerful people within the police, Childrens services, and throughout the community. I am in fear of our lives. We need legal assistance and my kids back in my custody. My kids and I needs healing, help, and protection.

We are deeply troubled and grieved by the horrific situation you and your children are facing. First, we must cry out to God for His divine intervention and protection. We stand with you in the name of Jesus Christ, for there is power in His name, and He is the only way to come to God the Father. As it is written, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5.

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for Your divine intervention in the lives of Halousormore and her children. Lord, You see the evil that is being done to these innocent little ones, and Your heart is grieved. We cry out for justice and protection for these children, Lord. Surround them with Your angels and put an end to these horrific acts.

Lord, we pray for healing for these children, both physically and emotionally. We know that You can make all things new, and we ask that You restore their bodies, minds, and spirits. We also lift up Halousormore, asking that You fill her with strength, courage, and wisdom as she fights for her children.

Lord, we ask that You expose the evil deeds being done in secret and bring those responsible to justice. We pray for a righteous anger to rise up in the authorities, that they would no longer stand by and allow this to happen, but would fight for the lives of these children.

Lord, we know that You can turn even the most hopeless situations around for good. We ask that You work all things together for good in this situation, and that You bring something beautiful from these ashes.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Now, let us address some biblical principles and encouragements for you, Halousormore.

First, we want to remind you that God is a God of justice, and He will not let the evil deeds of these men go unpunished. As it is written,

Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness? 2 Corinthians 6:14.

For you were once darkness, but are now light in the Lord. Walk as children of light, for the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth, proving what is well pleasing to the Lord. Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather even reprove them. For the things which are done by them in secret, it is a shame even to speak of. Ephesians 5:8.

We also want to encourage you to seek godly counsel and legal assistance. It is clear that there are powers at work within the authorities that are preventing justice from being served. We urge you to seek out Christian organizations that specialize in helping victims of abuse and trafficking. There are God-fearing people out there who will help you fight for your children. Trust God to lead you to them.

Lastly, we want to remind you that God is still in control, even in this dark and desperate situation. He is our hope, our stronghold, and our deliverer. As it is written,

I will say of Yahweh, He is my refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust. Surely he will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly pestilence. He will cover you with his feathers. Under his wings you will take refuge. His faithfulness is your shield and rampart. Psalms 91:2-4,

The name of Yahweh is a strong tower: the righteous run to him, and are safe. Proverbs 18:10.

Be strong and courageous, Halousormore. God is with you, and He will fight for you and your children.

We are standing with you in prayer and interceding on your behalf. We will be praying for the following:

That God would deliver your children from this evil and bring them safely back into your custody.
That God would expose the evil deeds being done in secret and bring those responsible to justice.
That God would provide you with godly counsel and legal assistance.
That God would heal your children, both physically and emotionally.
That God would fill you with strength, courage, and wisdom as you fight for your children.
That God would bring something beautiful from these ashes, and that His name would be glorified through this situation.

Oh, dear sister, our hearts ache for you and your precious children. We've been praying fervently for you since we heard your cry for help. We're here with you, standing in the gap, lifting your burden to the Lord.

We've been asking God to intervene, to protect your children, and to bring swift justice to those harming them. We've been interceding for healing, both physical and emotional, for your kids, and for strength and wisdom for you as you fight for their safety and well-being.

We've also been reminding God of His promises, like Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're claiming that promise for your children, believing that God will restore their innocence and heal their hurts.

We've been asking God to expose the darkness, to reveal the truth, and to bring those responsible to justice. We're claiming Proverbs 21:15, "When justice is done, it brings joy to the righteous but terror to evildoers."

We've been praying for God to provide you with godly counsel, legal assistance, and a way out of this situation. We're claiming Psalm 37:7, "Rest in the Lord and wait patiently for him; do not fret when people succeed in their ways, when they carry out their wicked schemes."

We're also reminding you, dear sister, of God's unfailing love and faithfulness. We're claiming Lamentations 3:22-23, "Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness."

We're here for you, praying and believing with you. We're claiming victory in Jesus' name. Keep fighting, dear sister. God is with you.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. We continue to lift you and your children before the throne of grace, dear sister in Christ. Thank you for allowing us the honor of praying with you and for you. We are fervently standing in agreement with you for God's divine intervention, protection, and healing for your little ones. If you have seen any improvements or answers to our collective prayers, we would be blessed to hear about them. Your testimony could encourage others who are going through similar trials.

If the situation is still critical, and you feel led to do so, please share an update. We want to persist in praying with you until your children are safe, justice is served, and healing has begun. Remember, we serve a God who is mightier than any power or principality that may be working against you (Romans 8:38-39).

We pray that God grants you wisdom, strength, and courage as you continue to advocate for your children. May He surround you all with His angels, protect you from harm, and deliver you from this evil (Psalm 91). We ask that He exposes the wickedness, brings the perpetrators to justice, and softens the hearts of the authorities to do what is right.

We also pray for your daughter's specific needs, that God would provide the help she needs and open doors for her healing and progress. Trust that God loves your children even more than you do, and He will not forsake them.

Please know that you are not alone in this battle. We are here with you, praying and believing that God will turn this situation around for His glory. Keep seeking Him, trusting in His goodness, and believing in His promises. We are confident that as we pray united, we will see the power of God manifested in your life and in the lives of your precious children.
