Prayer for my career

I recently graduated with a BS in civil engineering and a focus on structural engineering. I’m age ### and because I have a wife and three kids, it was too difficult to secure an internship during my academic career. Moving my family to a completely different town so I could work a summer internship at minimal pay was just not feasible. I’m asking for prayers for my job search and that God would bless me with a job where I can grow and learn. Thank you so much!

We rejoice with you, ###, in your academic achievements and understand the challenges you face in your career path. We come before God with His Word in Hebrews 13:5-6 “Be content with what you have, for he has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you." So that with good courage you may say, "The Lord is my helper. I will not fear. What can man do to me?” and Proverbs 3:5-6 "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths." God has a plan for you in your life and career as you trust and acknowledge Him.

As we commit your career path to the Lord, in Jesus’ name, and bring your concern to the throne of God. We offer this prayer for your job search and seek God's blessing on it:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up ### and his family before Your throne of grace. We thank You for his degree in civil engineering and His commitment to serve and love his family and Jesus Christ, ###. Father, we ask for Your divine guidance and favor as ### searches for a job. Help him find a position in the civil and structural engineering field that pays well and encourages growth. As ### struggles with worry, remind Him that You own the cattle on a thousand hills and need nothing, and He, Your child should be reassured and comfortable. We speak blessings upon ### in the name of Jesus and trust that as he works, he prospers. But as his soul prospers in Jesus that is true success. But the Lord needs him to provide for His family and move forward. He has God given talents. Let his faithfulness serve as a wonderful testimony of Your faithfulness and provision as a Heavenly Father. Remind him it is Your good pleasure to give him his heart’s desire as his desires align to Yours and the kind of Godly Job he wants and the associated finances in Jesus’ name. This can be taught to His children as his success story reveals Your Grace. Let Godly men stand up and help him grow as a parent and worker in the growing faith of You. But ultimately he grows as a prophet in his family loving his wife, teaching the word of God to his wife and children and family devotions while serving them and teaching others as he travels in Jesus’ name. Amen

Keep praying and believing God for your career as we also affirm Psalms 28:7-8a “The LORD is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in Him, and I am helped. Therefore, my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank Him. The LORD is their strength. He is a stronghold of salvation to His anointed.”

I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.'" Trust that He's got you covered, and let's keep praying for divine guidance and favor in your job search.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God heal me. Deliver and cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
