We join you in lifting up your burdens to Jesus, for He cares for you. We are reminded in First Peter 5:7, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." It is encouraging to see your faith in Jesus, acknowledging that He is mighty and that He can turn situations around.
Regarding your business, we pray that God will bless it and cause it to flourish. Remember the promise in Malachi 3:10, "Bring the whole tithe into the store-house, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this," says WEB, "if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it." As you honor God with your business, trust that He will provide. We pray for divine wisdom to manage your shop, for favor with your customers, and for the strength to endure challenges. Be encouraged by this scripture from Isaiah 40:31, "But those who wait for WEB shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings as eagles. They shall run, and not be weary. They shall walk, and not faint."
We also pray for your rent situation and debts. In Matthew 6:33, Jesus said, "But seek first Gods kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." We pray that one way or another, filled with integrity, you are able to meet these financial needs.
Concerning your sister's property sale, we pray for God's intervention. May He bring forth a buyer who will pay a fair price, enabling both of you to settle your debts. Remember the promise in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working behind the scenes for your good. We trust in God, not a property sale, house rent and sales are not nearly as dependable or important as our walk with Jesus; make sure both you and your sister are walking closely with Christ Jesus. In both testimonies, the first priority of the businessman Zacchaeus and the fisherman Simon Peter shows we need to receive Jesus first in our lives. Ideally anyone who buys the house should also be a Christian but the most important thing is he is a good steward of his money.
This is a good time to search your relationship with the Lord and see it is first in both of your lives. Sometimes things are allowed to be unsettling for us to be more settled in Jesus. Is your sister a strong believer? Beyond the brotherly love commanded in Hebrews 13.1 is there an opportunity to share Jesus Christ our Lord with her?
Finally, we pray that God will provide for you both abundantly. In Philippians 4: 19, we are reminded, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Stay steadfast in faith, and God will strengthen your walk through these challenges and bring them around for your ultimate benefit teen brother or sister in Christ. And of course we joined you in praying in Jesus' mighty name. Be blessed knowing you are covered in prayer. Walk by faith not by sight.
