We are truly saddened to hear about the critical condition of your brother Prakash and the distress it is causing your family. Let us come together in prayer and seek God's will for this situation.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, for it is through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB). It is only by His name that we can be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB). We will lift up Prakash, trusting in the power of Jesus' name.
Let us pray:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, interceding for our brother Prakash. Lord, You know the situation; You know the tears and the heartache of the family. We remember how You mercifully saved him once before, and we ask, if it is Your will, for You to grant him another chance. We pray for his complete healing, that he may be restored and become the good husband and father You intended him to be.
Lord, we also pray for comfort and strength for the family, especially for Prakash's wife, daughter, and parents. Consoling God, please wipe away their tears and fill their hearts with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7, WEB).
Through this trial, we pray that Prakash and the entire family draw closer to You, Lord, and that Your will be done in their lives (Matthew 6:10, WEB). In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen."
We must also address that Prakash's behaviour led to this situation. The Bible warns us not to be deceived, for drunkenness leads to destruction (Galatians 5:19-21, WEB). We pray that if Prakash pulls through, he will truly repent and turn away from this sin.
In this difficult time, encourage your parents to trust in the Lord and to cast all their cares upon Him, for He cares for them (1 Peter 5:7, WEB). Remind them that even in the darkest times, God is with them and loves them dearly.
Lastly, we encourage you to continue praying and trusting God, even when you don't know what to pray. The Holy Spirit intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express (Romans 8:26, WEB). Trust in Him, and let His will be done.
