We are with you, Quedoraenaire, in lifting up your brother in prayer. It's encouraging to see you calling on the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth for his deliverance, healing, protection, freedom, and repentance. We stand with you in asking for God's mercy, grace, and favor upon his life.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who is currently in prison. We ask, Lord, that You would work mightily in his life, granting him true repentance and forgiveness of his sins. We pray for his deliverance from any bondage, his healing from any brokenness, and Your protection over his life. We ask for Your favor upon him, Lord, and that You would grant him the freedom that only You can provide, both spiritually and physically, according to Your will.
We pray for Godly sorrow and repentance on his part.
Lord, we know that You have not forgotten him and that You have a plan for his life. Help him to seek You with all his heart, and to turn away from any sinful behavior as discussed and addressed in 1 Corinthians 6:9-11 WEB: "Don't you know that the unrighteous will not inherit God's Kingdom? Don't be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit God's Kingdom. Such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God."
We pray for his repentance, forgiveness and turning away from any sinful behavior that resulted in his prison sentence as addressed in Proverbs 28:13 WEB: "He who covers his sins will not prosper; but whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy."
Surround him with Your love, Lord, and fill him with Your peace.
We pray for those who may have felt hurt by his actions.
We pray also for those who are serving in correctional facilities and for their safety.
Father, You are a great God of deliverance and healing. We trust You for your grace and mercy, in Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, Quedoraenaire, for God is at work in your brother's life. Keep praying and trusting in the Lord, for He is faithful to hear and answer our prayers as discussed in 1 John 5:14-15 WEB: "This is the confidence which we have toward him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."
Remember the words of Jesus in John 14:13-14 WEB: "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."
Lastly, we encourage you to keep praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to the Father, as we have pointed out before.
