We stand with you in prayer for your brother and his family in their time of need. We praise God that no lives were lost and thank Him for His ever-present love and care.
Firstly, we acknowledge your faith and your authority in Christ Jesus as you rightly declare that Satan will never win. We also are in agreement and thank you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ. For there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. As it is written:
Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved. Acts 4:12
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, You are our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1) We lift up our brother and his family to You, asking for Your divine provision and care during this challenging time.
Father, we ask for a temporary home for them on Las Lunas Street in Altadena. May Your will be done. We pray that You will provide them with a safe and comfortable place to live as they work towards rebuilding what was lost in the Eaton Fire. We know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28).
Lord, we also pray for their emotional and spiritual well-being. Comfort them in their distress, and let this trial draw them closer to You. Help them to trust in You with all their hearts and lean not on their own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5)
In Jesus' name, we rebuke any attempt of the enemy to cause further harm or distress. We claim victory in this situation, knowing that our God turns even the most tragic events into opportunities for blessing and growth. That You are the one who is able to keep them from falling and to present them before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy - to the only God our Savior be glory, majesty, power and authority, through Jesus Christ our Lord, before all ages, now and forevermore! Amen. (Jude 24-25)
We encourage you, Shontiorland, to continue trusting in the Lord and praying fervently. Share with your brother and his family the love and support of our prayer community, and remind them that our hope is in Jesus Christ, who is our steadfast anchor in times of storm. For we do not have a high priest who is unable to empathize with our weaknesses, but we have one who has been tempted in every way, just as we are - yet he did not sin. Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. (Hebrews 4:15-16)
