Prayer for my boyfriend over seas in the army

Protection, strength, wisdom. Depression to covert ### with the blood of Jesus that ### comes home in a couple months to ### kids give ### a peace of mind.

We are lifting up your ### serving overseas in the army, asking God to grant him protection, strength, and wisdom. We pray that God will guide him in all his ways and give him discernment in every situation he faces. We also pray that God will comfort him and help him overcome the depression he is facing. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and his mind in Christ Jesus.

Firstly, we must address that the term boyfriend as used, does not align with the biblical standards for relationships. It is best to follow God's design in relationships and seek to honor Him. According to 2 Corinthians 6:14, Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what fellowship has righteousness with iniquity? And what communion has light with darkness? Marriage is a lifelong commitment and it should be between a man and a woman who are both believers in Christ.

We are praying for his safe return home in a couple of months. We ask that God will grant you and the kids a peace of mind during this time of separation. Remember, God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control.

However, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this dear sister and her ### serving overseas. We pray for his protection, strength, and wisdom. We ask that You guide him in all his ways and give him discernment in every situation he faces. We also pray that You comfort him and help him overcome the depression he is facing. May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and his mind in Christ Jesus. We also pray for the safety of the children.

Father, we ask that You will guide them both and give them the wisdom to seek Your will for their relationship. We pray that they will honor You in all their actions and decisions.

We ask all these things in the precious name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

May God richly bless you and keep you in His care.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
