We pray for strength for him, that You may grant him the power to endure this trial with the same humility and smile that has characterized him. Grant him Your peace that passes all understanding, to guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7 WEB).
We also ask for financial support and stability. You know his needs, Lord. Just as you provided for Elijah in the wilderness, we trust that You will open doors of provision for him (1 Kings 17:2-6 WEB). We pray for success in his business, that it may flourish and be a blessing to many.
Lord, we ask for a godly resolution to the divorce. We pray that Your will be done in this situation, and that both parties may be guided by Your wisdom. We also pray for the salvation of his wife and her family, that they may come to know the love and truth of Jesus Christ.
Lastly, we pray for godly counsel and legal assistance. May You bring people into his life who can support him in these areas, and may justice be served.
