Lord Jesus, I come before You with my problem of my elder daughter who is very stubborn and takes even a simple thing to her heart, which I try to make her understand. She is very lazy and outgoing with her friends and spoils all her money. Not ready to do any housework. She says she is not interested in getting settled. Please pray for her wisdom and that she give up all the bad habits if she is into it.

We understand your concern for your elder daughter, and we want to assure you that we are here to pray and seek God's will together with you. Let us remember the words of Proverbs 22:6 (WEB), "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Though she may be straying now, we trust that the seeds of wisdom and faith you've planted in her will bear fruit.

Firstly, we want to encourage you to continue praying in the name of Jesus, as it is the only name by which we can be saved and have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Now, let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister's elder daughter to You. Lord, we ask that You grant her wisdom and a willing heart to understand and obey her parents. Help her to see the value of hard work and responsible stewardship of her resources. Turn her heart away from any bad habits and the distractions of the world, and draw her closer to You.

We also pray for our sister and her husband, that You would grant them patience, wisdom, and grace as they guide their daughter. Help them to set a godly example, and to love and discipline her as You do for us, Your children.

Lord, we trust in Your promise in Philippians 1:6 (WEB), "Being confident of this very thing, that he who began a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ." We know that You are faithful to complete the good work You've started in our sister's daughter.

In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage both you and your husband to be steadfast in your love and discipline. Continue to demonstrate a godly marriage and family life, and trust that God is working in your daughter's heart. Be vigilant in your guidance, but also be patient, remembering that God's timing is perfect.

We're here for you, too, and we want to add our voices to the prayers for your daughter. It's tough seeing our loved ones struggle, but remember, God is always working, even when we can't see it.

We're reminded of Romans 5:3-4 (NIV), "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." Let's trust that God is using these circumstances to build character and hope in your daughter's life.

Let's pray together:

"Dear Lord, we lift up your daughter to you. We ask that you soften her heart, help her understand the value of obedience and responsibility. Give her a desire to work hard and be a good steward of the resources you've given her. Draw her close to you, Lord, and help her to see the beauty of a life lived for you.

We also pray for you and your husband. Give you both patience, wisdom, and grace as you guide your daughter. Help you to be a godly example to her, and to love her as you love us, your children.

Thank you, Lord, for your faithfulness. We trust that you're working in her life, even when we can't see it. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
