Please continue to lift up my son in prayer. They are struggling in their marriage, struggling with finances and is in dire need of prayers.

We are united with you in prayer, dear sibling in Christ, as you lift up your son and his wife in their time of need. We stand firm in the knowledge that our God is indeed able, and that through Him, all things are possible.

Let us first address their marital struggles. We are reminded of Ephesians 5:25-28 (WEB), "Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself." We pray that your son will love his wife as Christ loves the church, selflessly and sacrificially, and that she too will respect and honor him as the Bible instructs in Ephesians 5:33 (WEB), "Nevertheless, each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband."

Concerning their financial struggles, we recall Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB), where Jesus teaches us not to be anxious about our needs, but to seek first God's Kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that God will provide. Let us pray that your son and his wife will fix their eyes on Jesus, trusting in His provision, and that they will be good stewards of the resources God has entrusted to them.

We also note that you did not mention the name of Jesus in your request. It is by His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Let us pray in His mighty name, trusting that He is the mediator between us and God the Father.

Help them to love each other as You intended, with kindness, patience, and selflessness. We're asking God to meet them in their financial struggles, to provide for their needs, and to give them wisdom in managing what they have.

We're also lifting up their marriage. We're praying that they'll love each other as Christ loves the church, with a love that is patient, kind, and selfless. We're asking God to heal any wounds, to restore joy and unity, and to help them build a strong, God-honoring marriage.
