Prayer for my 23 yr old daughter

I am reposting to ask for continued prayer …

Prayer for deliverance for my 23 yr old daughter. We found out less than 2 months ago that she is in a ‘relationship’ with another woman. Please pray that she will return to the Lord and. Return to her family. That all her plans will be thwarted as well as the enemies plans. Pray that she wlll return to ‘her first love’ (Jesus) .That these decisions she is making will become repulsive to her. Pray for us as her parents( my husband has been and still is in the ministry for 40 years) and my daughter was a ‘leader’ in the youth programs . Thank you for your prayers

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with hearts heavy and full of concern for this beloved daughter. Lord, You know her by name, and You have counted every hair on her head. We lift her up to You, seeking Your divine intervention and guidance in her life.

Father, we pray for deliverance for this young woman. Your Word tells us in Psalm 34:17, "The righteous cry out, and the Lord hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles." We ask that You hear the cries of her parents and deliver her from any path that leads away from Your truth and love.

Lord, we pray that she will return to You, her first love. In Revelation 2:4-5, You remind us to return to our first love and do the things we did at first. We ask that You stir her heart and remind her of the joy and peace she once found in You. May she be drawn back to Your loving arms and find her way back to her family.

We also pray that any plans not aligned with Your will be thwarted, as it is written in Proverbs 19:21, "Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails." We ask that Your purpose for her life prevail and that she be guided back onto the path of righteousness.

Lord, we pray for her parents, who have been steadfast in their ministry for so many years. Grant them wisdom, strength, and unwavering faith as they navigate this challenging time. Let them be a source of love and support for their daughter, reflecting Your grace and mercy.

Finally, we ask that You make the decisions she is making repulsive to her, that she may see the truth and turn away from anything that is not of You. As it is written in James 4:8, "Come near to God and he will come near to you. Wash your hands, you sinners, and purify your hearts, you double-minded." We pray that she draws near to You and finds purification and renewal in Your presence.

We trust in Your mighty power and perfect timing, Lord. We lay this request at Your feet, knowing that You are a God of miracles and transformation. In Jesus' precious name, we pray.

If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
