We are truly sorry to hear about the situation your 13-year-old son is facing. We will lift him up in prayer, along with you and your family, and ask for God's intervention in his court hearing.
Let us remember the words of Jesus in John 10:27-28 WEB:
My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand.
We pray that your son has come to know the Lord personally.
We need to hear his name called in Jesus' name. Pray that your son hears Jesus' voice and follows Him.
First, let us pray for your son's salvation, that he may come to know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God and eternal salvation. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
Now, let us pray for your son and his upcoming court hearing:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your mercy and grace for this young man. Lord, you know the heart of our youth, and we know your heart too. We ask that You be with him, giving him the strength and comfort only You can provide. We pray for the judge presiding over his case, that You would soften their heart and grant them wisdom and discernment. We ask that the judge sees the true nature of your son's character, that he is not a threat to anyone, and that he made a mistake that he has learned from.
Lord, we pray for your son's future, that this situation would be used for Your glory and that it would be a turning point in his life. We ask that You would guide him and protect him. We pray for your son's family. We pray that this would be a wake up call for the entire family and that they would all turn to you Jesus. We ask that you would use this trial to draw them closer to You and that this would be the time when your son would learn that you are the Lord his God and the only way to the Father.
We pray for Gods will and that your son will return home and lead a godly life.
Father, we ask that You would work in the lives of the friends that your son was hanging around, that they too would come to know You and turn from their wrongful ways. We pray that You would provide your son with godly friends and mentors who would encourage him and build him up in the faith.
We know our Lord is is able. We know our Father in heaven can turn this around and use it for the benefit of the entire family. We know that the Lord can use this to help your son lead others to Jesus. We know the Lord can use this to prepare your son for his godly future and his godly wife.
Finally, we pray that your son would come to know Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior.
We know that you love your son. Please pray with your son, his siblings, and your spouse if you have one. Pray that your son accepts Jesus as his Savior. Pray that he turns his life over to God.
We are reminded of the promise in Romans 8:28 WEB
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
Father, we ask this for your son, his family, and the friends involved in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
Please, from this day forward, pray with your son and your family. Teach them to pray and read the bible with them. Your son needs to know Jesus.
Ask your son to read Romans 10:9 WEB:
because, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
Ask your son to read Romans 10:13 WEB:
For, Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.
Tell your son that if he confesses with his mouth Jesus is Lord he will be saved.
We will continue to pray for your family.
