We join you in lifting up your beloved parents before the throne of grace, seeking God's mercy and healing power. Let us pray.
Almighty God, the Great Physician, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine touch upon the lives of our dear brother's parents. Lord, You promise in Your Word that if we humble ourselves and pray, You will hear from heaven and will heal their land. We claim this promise for our brother's family today.
Firstly, we lift up our dear mother. Lord, You know her health struggles and the pain she has endured. We ask for Your healing hand to be upon her, that You would restore her health and grant her a speedy recovery. Give her strength and comfort in this time of need, and let Your love envelop her. "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,' says Yahweh" (Jeremiah 30:17 WEB).
Secondly, we lift up our dear father. Lord, we ask for Your protection and blessing upon him. Keep him safe from all harm and danger, and grant him good health. Let him be a strong support for our mother during this time, and let their love for each other be a testament to Your faithfulness. "So then, they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate" (Matthew 19:6 WEB).
Dear brother, as we pray for your parents, we encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). Remember that God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, He will also provide a way out so that you can endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God the Father. "For 'Whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved.'" (Romans 10:13 WEB) "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB). If you have not already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, the only Savior. We believe in the power of prayer offered up in Jesus name.
Together, we stand in agreement, believing and trusting God for their healing and protection, in Jesus' name. Amen.
