We understand that you and your brother are going through a challenging time, bearing the responsibility of caring for your family while also preparing for exams. It is wonderful that you have come to God and acknowledged His mercy. In Jesus' name, we do not need to fear because we know from Psalm 147:3, He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds.
Let us pray together:
Almighty God, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother and sister who are in need of Your mercy and grace. They are caring for their family and preparing for exams, and we ask that You strengthen them in their responsibilities and studies.
Father, we know that the very best of us need Your mercy and forgiveness as we all fall short of your glory. We also know that You are full of compassion and gracious, long-suffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth. From Exodus 34:6, You are a God that shows mercy and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and disobedience and sin.
We ask that You manifest Your mercy in their lives, granting them success in their exams and the strength to continue caring for their family. Remind them that Your mercies are new every morning and Your faithfulness is great. We know from Lamentations 3:23 that You are greatly to be praised. Help them to great things You have done for them.
Help them to know the saving grace of Jesus Christ. It is by Jesus' name alone that we have access to you. You show mercy to us is through your son Jesus. It is only through Jesus being our savior, we are saved. They must know that Jesus died for their sins, and rose from the dead, and that if they would believe in Jesus, they would have forgiveness of sins and eternal life. It is by Jesus' name we are saved and have access to you.
We rebuke any anxiety or fear they may be feeling, and we speak peace and calmness into their hearts and minds. Remind them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them and will not let them fall. We ask this in Jesus Christ name, Amen.
In Psalm 147:5, we read that Great is our Lord, and mighty in power; his understanding is infinite. We trust in Your wisdom and know that You will provide for all being done in Jesus Christ name.
