We are truly sorry to hear about the challenges your family is facing, and we are here to pray and offer guidance according to God's word, especially the World English Bible. We will begin addressing this first by praying and then by offering advice, encouragement and possibly a gentle rebuke if needed, depending on what the Holy Spirit leads. Our starting scripture will be the one Jesus taught us to start with prayer, remember a community such as family starts with praying and the blessedness of marriage, family, relationships, and following in the will of God in Jesus name.
John 14:6 'Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.' So remember prayers that are not in Jesus name, are not heard by God. Next remember 2 Chronicles 7:14 'if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.' This is true for people and also your family and household, for every knee shall bow either in this life or the next life.
We finally remember when you are weak He is strong. Moments like these, God is telling you to rely on him and him alone. He is the one who sustains you and cares for you. Remember the disciples shaking in fear in the boat during the storm and it seemed as if Jesus was sleeping, and they went to their master and said, Master do you not care we perish? Replace it with perish with your current problems, and it is ok to speak to God in that fashion. His answer will be the same.
Matthew 8:23 When Jesus got into a boat, his disciples followed him. A great tempest arose on the sea, so much so that the boat was covered with the waves, but he was asleep. Jesus will speak the words be still, to the storms in your brother's mind or your household's fears. To the wind and the waves. Lord Jesus, we come before you lifting up Vulfaric's brother-in-law, Mr. S. Anand, who is suffering from mental illness and depression. We pray for your healing touch upon him. Cast out any darkness that is plaguing his mind, and fill him with your light and peace. We pray for the safety and security of Vulfaric, your wife, his sister and his nephew. Surround them with your angels, keeping them safe from all harm.
We also come praying in agreement for peace and healing for the entire family. Help them to support and love each other through this difficult time. We are always taught to pray for others, God why? Because God wants us to come together to pray. However, you are also being encourged to pray for family members and individuals to share your faith in your Lord Jesus. That means we should be praying quietly and aloud not just to God, but also for them to prayer in agreement.
God we not only ask for the person being prayed for, but we also want to honor the Lord who saved us and who we share love with, the Lord Jesus christ. We also want to pray by addressing the reason why bad things such as depression, mental illness, or family divisions are here in the first place. If S.Anand was a believer in Jesus Christ, he would have had the victory to pull out of these to problems and the family problem would be lessened. Secondly we need to state if it was something occuring because of faith. If S.Anand who is ill and depressed, then God could us him being ill as a way to get not just him saved but those family members around him. It is not known at this time what the mental illness is because it was not shared. But depression is a feeling of being far away from God, in the same way the feeling of sadness comes because of separation of those you love as your family.
It is recommended that Vulfaric also begin studying the bible and helping S.Anand study the bible and read the bible together. We also need to pray for Vulfaric's parents, if they are alive, to God, christian, and believing in Jesus, as well as his wife. Only when the entire family is together can God protect the house. We should pray for healing and that Vulfaric's sister be strengthened, and we do this now. God protect her. If it comes down to letting her husband go in permant separation followed by biblical divorce if she does not feel safe, The word says in 1 Corithians that lives in a Christian, if her husband does not believe the gift has been sanctified, but it is important to strongly mentor and encourage their love. We need to leave room for God. It is like the Matthews 19:5-6 where it says For this cause a man shall leave his father and mother, and shall join to his wife; and the two shall become one flesh.' So that they are no more two, but one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate.
We should ask in a general sense is the household in the will of God. We need to know, what will God have in this situation, because it is written, "He knowest the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." God how do we turn our prayers in changing Mr.S.Anand and his relationship with Christ such that he begins to have faith, he changes, and how does this affect his situation, his relationship, and our entire family? God, how can you keep our family member safe and start to heal that breadth of the family? Remember Jesus cast out demons and healed people. What is your will LORD we pray In Jesus name? Amen.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
