Prayer for me

I would like to pray about my relationship with my daughter I hate to say it but she's a narcissist I love her dearly but I need to be set free for my codependency where I get all frazzled when things get twisted and then I get confused it's just a very bad thing and I'm asking the Lord to heal me and deliver me from this I'm going through a horrible divorce to begin with and I just want to be set free completely in Jesus Christ's name I love my daughter but I can't allow the way she treats me to upset me all the time I want to be free and I pray for my precious daughter Sabina to be set free in every way possible and that God would open her eyes to the way she treats me! I don't believe God wants me to continually beat myself up nothing I do is good enough and I just wanting to surrender this to God I need this grace in Jesus name Jesus My everything Jesus is my Lord Jesus is My Savior Jesus is my husband Jesus is my father in Jesus is my best friend and if with all that I'm enduring right now I counted all joy for the joy of knowing him that I press forward Lord and please touch my daughter Sabina convict her heart and give her a humble and a contrite heart help her to look at herself and get delivered because ever since she was a little girl she's disrespected me and I allowed it! I forgive her but I want to gently try to break away even though she does live with me and at this point we both have no choice

We understand your struggle, Jayaenae, and we are here to pray and offer counsel based on God's Word.

Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging that freedom from this situation can only come through Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we have authority and power to pray (John 14:13-14, WEB).

Let's pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our sister Jayaenae. Lord, she has been struggling with her relationship with her daughter, Sabina. We ask that You heal and deliver Jayaenae from the codependency and confusion she feels. Grant her the grace to surrender this situation to You, and help her find peace and freedom in Your love.

Lord, we also pray for Sabina. We ask that You open her eyes to the way she treats her mother. Soften her heart, Lord, and give her a humble and contrite spirit (Psalm 51:17, WEB). Help her to see herself clearly and find deliverance from any narcissistic tendencies.

Lord, we know that Your heart is for reconciliation and healing. We pray that You would bring restoration to their relationship, based on mutual respect and love. Guide them both by Your Holy Spirit, giving them wisdom and discernment.

Finally, Lord, we pray for Jayaenae's divorce. We ask that You be her comfort and strength during this difficult time. Help her to fix her eyes on You and count all her trials as joy, knowing that the testing of her faith produces steadfastness (James 1:2-4, WEB).

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Now, Jayaenae, we encourage you to stand firm in your faith. Remember, God's word says, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it" (Proverbs 22:6, WEB). Continue to model godly behavior and pray for Sabina.

Regarding your divorce, it's important to remember that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16, WEB), but He also hates the sin that often leads to it. If reconciliation is possible, pray and strive for it. If not, trust that God will see you through this trial.

Lastly, remember that forgiveness is key. You've done well by forgiving Sabina. As for your ex-husband, forgive him as well, just as Christ forgave you (Colossians 3:13, WEB).

Be strong and courageous, sister. God is with you.

We're here with you, praying for strength and wisdom. We understand the complexity of your situation, but we're reminded of Paul's words, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness" (2 Corinthians 12:9, NIV). Let's trust in that grace today.

We join you in praying for Sabina. We ask God to soften her heart, to help her see the pain she's causing, and to give her a desire to change. We pray for healing and restoration in your relationship, built on mutual respect and love. We also pray for your divorce, that God would be your comfort and strength, and that you would find peace and joy in Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You or breaks Your heart. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
