Tortay

Disciple of Prayer
Hello,

Since a friendship breakup in July I reached my breaking point of rejection and have not been able to completely recover.

I am more angry at God than before has not been to church since, and the friend I loved and confided in Acts like I'm the only one at fault. I know the word says forgive and I think I have but hate takes over.

God is silent it seems though I know He awaits my repentance. However I repent and fall back again to old feelings.

I have no desire to be friends with anyone else from my church or anywhere else really. I used to share everything and now I rather not have more than a hi relationship with anyone.

I feel beyond betrayed abandoned ...and one or two friends are just jealous old Christians whom I trusted and had high respect for.

I haven't been the best person but I always apologize for my wrong. Them. No or they don't know why they apologize.

I'm past bitterness and just ready to walk from God completely. In my heart I already have.

We understand that you're going through a difficult time, Tortay, and we're here to help guide you back to God and to forgive those who have hurt you. First, let's address the anger you're feeling towards God. It's important to remember that God is always faithful, even when we're not. As it says in 2 Timothy 2:13 WEB, If we are faithless, he remains faithful. He can't deny himself.

Now, let's address the issue of forgiveness. It's clear that you've been deeply hurt, but it's important to remember that forgiveness is not about excusing the other person's behavior, but rather releasing yourself from the bitterness and hatred that can consume you. As it says in Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB, Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.

Regarding your desire to isolate yourself from others, it's important to remember that God calls us to live in community with one another. As it says in Hebrews 10:24-25 WEB, let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching.

Finally, let's address your feeling of wanting to walk away from God. It's important to remember that God is always pursuing you, even when you feel like you want to walk away. As it says in Luke 15:4-6 WEB, What man among you, if he has one hundred sheep, and loses one of them, doesnt leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost, until he finds it? When he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. We believe you are like the lost sheep and the shepherd wants to bring you back to the sheepfold. However, we must explicitly mention that the only way back to God is through His Son Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 WEB Also there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved! If you have not asked Jesus to come into your heart and be your Lord and Saviour then that is the first step to begin your journey. Maybe you have already done that and you need to rededicate your life back to Jesus again.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you today to lift up Tortay. Lord, they are hurting and feeling betrayed, and now feel a barrier of anger between you and they. They are very bitter and filled with hate. Lord, we know that you are faithful, even when we're not. Help Tortay to see that you are always pursuing them, even when they feel like walking away. Father, please help Tortay forgive those who have hurt them. Release them from the bitterness and hatred that can consume them, especially against your children. Please place around Tortay encouraging Christian Believers who will help them heal and draw nearer to Jesus. Lord finally we ask that if Tortay has not asked Jesus into their heart to do that and to accept your forgiveness by faith and make Jesus Lord of their life. Lord we are only going to stay close to you when we read your Bible daily seeking your face. We should all pray In Jesus Most Holy Name.

Amen.

Remember Tortay, if you are not reading your bible regularly then you have not heard from nor are you listening to God. It is only in his word that we receive the direction, healing, forgiveness, confidence and assurance we need. In God's word he promises that He will never leave us or forsake us. Let God's spirit nourish your spirit while in the world. God's Spirit will guide you and guard you in this world. As believers, God's Spirit lives in us; our body is His temple. Don't forget God's word says if you have asked forgiveness of your sins and asked Jesus into your heart then God's spirit is living in you and will never leave you. If you want to ask us for more scriptures or just want to chat a little more please ask us through a private email. God Bless You.

Hey Tortay,

We've been thinking about you and wanted to reach out again. We know that healing takes time, and it's okay to feel hurt and angry. It's a part of the process. But remember, holding onto that bitterness can only hurt you in the long run.

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God, even in the silence. He's there, waiting for you to turn to Him. As it says in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." He sees you, He knows your pain, and He wants to heal you.

Forgiveness isn't about excusing what happened, but it's about letting go of the anger and bitterness that's weighing you down. It's about choosing to trust God with your pain and allowing Him to heal you. As it says in Isaiah 61:1, "He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners."

We're here for you, Tortay. We're praying for you, and we believe that God is going to use this situation to draw you closer to Him. Trust in Him, and let Him heal your heart.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear brother or sister, and we are honored that you have allowed us to stand in agreement with you before the throne of grace. We have been praying for your reconciliation with God and for the ability to fully forgive your Christian friends who hurt you.

If you have seen progress in these areas, we would be delighted to hear your praise report, as your victory is our victory in Christ. If the situation remains unchanged or has worsened, we encourage you to share an update so that we can continue to intercede on your behalf.

We have been praying specifically for the healing of your heart from rejection and betrayal, for the renewal of your desire to fellowship with other believers, and for a restorative work of the Holy Spirit in your life. We ask God to help you to forgive completely and to repent genuinely, knowing that He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

Please know that we care for you deeply and that our prayers are not merely words but a sincere cry to God on your behalf. We trust that the Lord will answer our prayers according to His will and in His perfect timing. May God bless you as you continue to seek Him through His son, Jesus Christ. Amen.
