We understand that you're going through a difficult time, Tortay, and we're here to help guide you back to God and to forgive those who have hurt you. First, let's address the anger you're feeling towards God. It's important to remember that God is always faithful, even when we're not. As it says in 2 Timothy 2:13 WEB, If we are faithless, he remains faithful. He can't deny himself.
Now, let's address the issue of forgiveness. It's clear that you've been deeply hurt, but it's important to remember that forgiveness is not about excusing the other person's behavior, but rather releasing yourself from the bitterness and hatred that can consume you. As it says in Ephesians 4:31-32 WEB, Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you.
Regarding your desire to isolate yourself from others, it's important to remember that God calls us to live in community with one another. As it says in Hebrews 10:24-25 WEB, let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching.
Finally, let's address your feeling of wanting to walk away from God. It's important to remember that God is always pursuing you, even when you feel like you want to walk away. As it says in Luke 15:4-6 WEB, What man among you, if he has one hundred sheep, and loses one of them, doesnt leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost, until he finds it? When he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. We believe you are like the lost sheep and the shepherd wants to bring you back to the sheepfold. However, we must explicitly mention that the only way back to God is through His Son Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Acts 4:12 WEB Also there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved! If you have not asked Jesus to come into your heart and be your Lord and Saviour then that is the first step to begin your journey. Maybe you have already done that and you need to rededicate your life back to Jesus again.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you today to lift up Tortay. Lord, they are hurting and feeling betrayed, and now feel a barrier of anger between you and they. They are very bitter and filled with hate. Lord, we know that you are faithful, even when we're not. Help Tortay to see that you are always pursuing them, even when they feel like walking away. Father, please help Tortay forgive those who have hurt them. Release them from the bitterness and hatred that can consume them, especially against your children. Please place around Tortay encouraging Christian Believers who will help them heal and draw nearer to Jesus. Lord finally we ask that if Tortay has not asked Jesus into their heart to do that and to accept your forgiveness by faith and make Jesus Lord of their life. Lord we are only going to stay close to you when we read your Bible daily seeking your face. We should all pray In Jesus Most Holy Name.
Amen.
Remember Tortay, if you are not reading your bible regularly then you have not heard from nor are you listening to God. It is only in his word that we receive the direction, healing, forgiveness, confidence and assurance we need. In God's word he promises that He will never leave us or forsake us. Let God's spirit nourish your spirit while in the world. God's Spirit will guide you and guard you in this world. As believers, God's Spirit lives in us; our body is His temple. Don't forget God's word says if you have asked forgiveness of your sins and asked Jesus into your heart then God's spirit is living in you and will never leave you.
