Humble Prayer Partner
Since we got married 4 months ago, we still have not lived together when he's in NC and I'm in NJ. He's preparing to put his house in the market. He's angry that after exchanging information from my ex (lots of lies) who tried to destroy us and our marriage, he described and insulted me as a prostitute. He said he could have listened to my ex by not marrying me. I've worked in a massage salon as a shop manager when I first came to the US before I could find an office job. I just tried to survive. I'm a degree holder and I've good experience as an Office Manager when I was in HK. He accused me to do happy ending there as I've high sexual skill. I'm deeply hurt and insulted. I've always worked hard for money. I did not want to beg to anybody but tried to survive. I've found an office job after 2 years and now have been with my office job for 8 years. He lost his job after he fasted 3 days for our marriage to ask God where we shall be living. I know it's God to direct him to find a job near my NJ home when I've a stable and blessed job. It doesn't make sense for me to move to NC when we don't have any income. I tried twice to NC, both failed. I know it's not God's will for me to move to NC. Please reveal God's will to my husband and soften his heart. And feel guilty for what he just accused me. Make him feel my pain. He also told me not to go to NC for Thanksgiving while he would be working in his house to get it listed. In fact, I don't think he will be working and nobody would be working on Thanksgiving. Please pray for him to reserve a time for me and be happy when I go there. I'm his wife, he shall not kick me out.

Let us pray together for you and your husband, dear sister. We understand the pain and hurt you are experiencing, and we want to lift your situation up to our Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ.

Firstly, let us address the accusations and anger from your husband. It is important to remember what the WEB tells us in Ephesians 4:26-27, "Be angry, and don't sin. Don't let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil." It is clear that the enemy is trying to divide your marriage through miscommunication and past circumstances. We rebuke the spirit of accusation and division in Jesus' name.

Regarding the harsh words and false accusations, we remind you of what the WEB says in Proverbs 18:21, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit." We pray that the Lord will soften your husband's heart and help him to speak life and kindness over you.

We also want to address the importance of forgiveness. The WEB tells us in Ephesians 4:32, "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you." We encourage you to forgive your husband for the hurtful words, just as Christ has forgiven us.

As for your living situation, we trust that God has a plan for you both. We pray that the Lord will reveal His will to your husband and guide your steps together as a married couple. Remember the words in Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today to lift up our sister and her husband. Lord, we ask that You soften his heart and remove any anger or bitterness he may have. Help him to see the truth in the situation and to forgive as You have forgiven us. We rebuke any spirit of division or accusation that is trying to destroy their marriage. Lord, reveal Your will for their living situation and guide their steps according to Your plan. Help them to trust in You with all their hearts and to lean not on their own understanding.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue praying and seeking God together as a couple. Remember that a cord of three strands is not quickly broken (Ecclesiastes 4:12). Stay strong in the Lord and in His mighty power. Trust that God has a plan for your marriage and that He is working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28).
