We are with you in spirit, Lizzymay, as we bring your requests before the throne of grace. Let us first ensure that we approach the Father in the name of Jesus, for as it is written, "In that day you will no longer ask me anything. Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you." (John 16:23 WEB)
In praying for you, your family, and your friends, we ask that the Lord will bless you all with good health and protect you from harm. We pray, "But let all who take refuge in you rejoice. Let them always shout for joy, because you defend them. Let those who love your name be joyful in you." (Psalm 5:11 WEB)
For your family, we pray for unity and love among each member. As the Scripture says, "Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous, it does not brag, and it is not proud. Love does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth." (1 Corinthians 13:4-6 WEB) We ask that any strife or disagreement be resolved through the love of Christ.
As for your friends, we pray that they will be a positive influence in your life, and you in theirs. "Iron sharpens iron; so a man sharpens his friend's countenance." (Proverbs 27:17 WEB) May you all grow together in godliness and encourage one another in your faith.
Remember, Lizzymay, it is only through the name of Jesus that we can approach God. If you or anyone you're praying for has not yet accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior, we encourage you to take that step. "Because, if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." (Romans 10:9-10 WEB)
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Lizzymay, her family, and her friends. We ask for your blessings, protection, and guidance in their lives. Help them to grow in love, unity, and godliness. Draw each one close to you, Lord, and may they find joy and refuge in your presence. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
