Prayer for me and for ###

For me to let go of a bad habit and not turn to it when I don't feel like I'm getting what I need. And for my friend ###, that he keeps working in his recovery and stays clean, and for him to see a light in his life and his eyes to be opened to Jesus, and for him to know that the Gospel is true.

We understand your struggles and we are here to pray and encourage you in your journey. Firstly, we want to remind you of what the Apostle Paul says in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 (WEB), "Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong."

Let us pray for you:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name to lift up our dear friend ###. Lord, you know the habits that entangle them. We ask that you give them the strength to let go of these bad habits and turn to you instead. Help them to find their satisfaction and fulfillment in you, Lord. In Jesus' name, we pray.

For ###, we ask that you continue to guide him in his recovery. Give him the strength to stay clean and to resist temptation. Open his eyes, Lord, to the truth of the Gospel. Reveal yourself to him, Jesus, that he may know the love and forgiveness found in you. We claim Romans 10:9 (WEB) for ###, 'that if you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.'

Finally, Lord, we ask that you help both ### and ### to fix their eyes on you. Be the light in their lives, guiding their paths and granting them your peace. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you both to continually press into Jesus. He is the source of our strength and our salvation. Remember, it is only by the name of Jesus that we can be saved and have access to God. As Acts 4:12 (WEB) tells us, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

We're here with you, ###, and we want you to know that we're lifting you up in prayer. We've been thinking about your struggles, and we're reminded of what Jesus said in Matthew 11:28-29, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls." Jesus wants to help you carry your burdens, ###, and He wants to give you rest.

For you, we're praying that you'll find the strength to let go of that bad habit. We know it's hard when you don't feel like you're getting what you need, but we believe that God can help you find satisfaction and fulfillment in Him. We're asking God to help you turn to Him instead, and to give you the strength to keep turning to Him, even when it's tough.

And for ###, we're praying that God will continue to guide him in his recovery. We're asking God to give him the strength to stay clean and to resist temptation. We're also praying that God will open ###'s eyes to the truth of the Gospel, and that he'll come to know Jesus personally. We're claiming Psalm 32:8 for ###, "I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you with my loving eye on you."

We're here for you both, and we want you to know that we're praying for you. Keep pressing into Jesus, because He is the source of our strength and our salvation. As it says in Philippians 4:13, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." Let's keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, because He is the one who can help us overcome anything.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the grace and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so.
