We are truly heartbroken to hear about the pain and suffering you are experiencing in your marriage. The situation you described is a clear violation of God's design for marriage, which is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. Adultery is severely condemned throughout the Bible.
As it says in Hebrews 13:4 WEB Marriage is honorable in all, and the bed undefiled, but God will judge the sexual sinner and the adulterer.
Our hearts go out to you as you navigate this incredibly difficult time. We will stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your marriage and family as well as God's intervention.
Abba Father, we come before You today, lifting up our sister who is in deep pain and anguish. Lord, we then ask You to convict her husband of the sin he is committing and bring him to repentance. Help him to see the gravity of his actions and the harm he is causing to his wife and family. We pray that the other woman is also convicted of her conduct and turns to You.
Father, we ask for Your guidance and wisdom for our sister. Show her the way forward, and give her the strength and courage to make the decisions that honor You. Comfort her broken heart, and provide her with the peace that surpasses all understanding through Jesus Christ.
Lord God, we also ask You to send a word to our sister, to speak to her through scripture, dreams, visions, or a trusted Christian acquaintance, to reassure her of your love and plans for her.
In Proverbs 3:5 WEB we read: Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will make your paths straight."
God has promised that He has a plan for each of us, declaring in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB "For I know the plans I have for you, says Yahweh, plans for peace and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."
Marriage is meant to be a reflection of Christ's love for His church, as described in Ephesians 5:25 WEB "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the assembly and gave Himself up for her."
We hope that your husband will turn from his adulterous ways and seek reconciliation with God and you.
Lastly dear sister, we notice that you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ in the request.
It is only by and through the name of Jesus Christ that Christians have access to God.
Remember the words of Jesus in John 14:6 WEB Jesus said to him "I am the way, the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me."
Also in Acts 4:11-12 WEB "This is 'the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.' There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name given to mankind under heaven whereby we must be saved!"
If you don't know Jesus Christ as your Lord, Savior, and King, we also pray that you will receive Him as we know that you will find true peace when you do.
Father make this a reality in Jesus' name as we pray.
