We stand with you in prayer, Aile, as you lift up your marriage and Glen to the Lord Jesus Christ. It is so important that you have come to Jesus for help, as He is the only way to God the Father. It is by His name that we can be saved. Just as Jesus taught His apostles, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full."
Firstly, we applaud you for seeking forgiveness for yourself and your spouse, Glen. That is so important, as we know that we should "Be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you."
Please see that you have made a good confession of Jesus at the end of your request where you said IJN twice but you did not ask for help in the correct way at the start because it is only in the authority of the name of Jesus Christ that we are to even ask.
Regarding the challenges in your marriage, we want to encourage both of you to remain steadfast in your commitment. God takes the vows of marriage seriously and knows it as a special idea of Himself as a church body with Christ as the bridegroom and His church as the bride. Remember, "What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate."This extends even to the things that may be causing division in your marriage. Trust that with God, all things are possible. Just as I John 2.22 says, "Who is the liar but he who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is the antichrist who denies the Father and the Son."God can remove even people who cause division in the way that they lie against the truth of the church is who Christ relates to as the bride of Christ being His church.
, We pray that you both will be strengthened in your faith and love for one another. "Let us therefore follow after things which make for peace, and things by which we may build up one another ...But God forbid that I should boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ."
May we pray with you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Aile and Glen's marriage. Lord, we ask for Your grace and mercy to abound in their lives as they forgive and seek forgiveness just as You do not remember our sins any more after we confess them in the name of Jesus. We pray for unity and the removal of any divisions or hindrances in their relationship. The Bible tells us that 'The prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective,' so "come to me and I will explain how to pray and have mercy, love, and peace together through through the Spirit.", so please restore their marriage and make it a testament to Your faithfulness especially with Good communion with You. Together we pray in Jesus Name. Amen.
Finally Aile and Glen should respect each other just as "But know this, that in the last days, grievous times will come. For men will be lovers of self, lovers of money, boastful, arrogant, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, unforgiving, slanderers".
Aile you may need to take an honest look at your feelings and habits in your lifestyle just as "do not love the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, not that the desires of the wicked, and goals of wanting are in and of the world, but the desires of the flesh are not of the Father, but are of the world and a strong pride of us as human beings until we are born again and the desires of the eyes are being cured of their nature to be envious of things both to seek and do."Because God is greater than all of those things and they can take the place of our love of Him.
