thank you we have been together going ontwo years we both have a relationship with christWe understand the challenges of a long-distance relationship, but we want to encourage you to align your desires with biblical principles. We should seek God’s will in all things, especially in matters of relationships and marriage.
Firstly, we must remember that God’s design for marriage is a sacred and lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. The Bible says, “A man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh” (Genesis 2:24, WEB). This union is meant to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:25-33, WEB).
We urge you to consider your relationship in the context of seeking a godly marriage. If you and your boyfriend are both believers in Christ, then your relationship should be guided by the principles of purity, love, and commitment. The Bible tells us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB) and to keep ourselves pure for marriage.
Let’s pray together for your relationship:
“Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up Bezisonris and her boyfriend to you. Grant them wisdom and understanding as they navigate their relationship. Help them to honor you in all they do, and guide them according to your will. If it is your plan for them to marry, please bring it about in your perfect timing. Strengthen their faith and commitment to each other and to you. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.”
Bezisonris, remember that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As it says in Acts 4:12 (WEB), “There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved.”
Trust in God’s plan for your life and relationship. Seek His will above all else, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6, WEB). Stay strong in your faith and continue to seek God in all things.
