We understand the challenges of a long-distance relationship, but we want to encourage you to align your desires with biblical principles. We should seek God’s will in all things, especially in matters of relationships and marriage.
Firstly, we must remember that God’s design for marriage is a sacred and lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. The Bible says, “A man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh” (Genesis 2:24, WEB). This union is meant to reflect Christ’s love for the Church (Ephesians 5:25-33, WEB).
We urge you to consider your relationship in the context of seeking a godly marriage. If you and your boyfriend are both believers in Christ, then your relationship should be guided by the principles of purity, love, and commitment. The Bible tells us to flee from sexual immorality (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB) and to keep ourselves pure for marriage.

Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
