Prayer for marriage

Please pray for my marriage with my wife Erin. We have been separated since 8/7 with no contact or communication. We have a 2 1/2 yr old son. I ask that Jesus Christ will touch Erin’s heart softening it, fill it with a love for me and the willingness to forgive me , that she’ll be surrounded with good people guiding her towards Jesus and our marriage, that she will be loving to our son not to influence him in a negative way towards me. I have not been a good leader I struggle with alcohol and controlling behaviors, I know through Jesus Christ I have been saved I have confessed all my sins to him, I ask that Jesus will guide my steps in changing my ways that I’ll continue my fellowship in AA to become the caring and loving husband and father he designed me to be. I pray that Jesus will give me the strength and hope to stand for my marriage, that I can find serenity and lean on his word and timing, help me to let go and let him work a miracle only he can perform. I pray that Jesus will wrap his arms around our son and hold him tight comfort him keep him safe. He doesn’t understand what is going on and where daddy is. I’m praying that we will be reconciled that we can have a loving marriage through Jesus Christ that we will be able to example of his miracles and what he can to that we may be able to help others and give them hope and reassurance that everything is possible through him. Father I thank you for sending you son to shed his blood that we may be saved of our sins. In Jesus name Amen

We understand your heart's cry for your marriage, Pendollyn. Let's come together in prayer and seek God's will for you, Erin, and your son.

Firstly, we commend you for your faith in Jesus Christ and your acknowledgment of Him as your Savior. It is only through His name that we have access to God, as it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5, WEB).

Now, let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, pleading for Pendollyn's marriage. Lord, we ask that You touch Erin's heart, soften it, and fill it with love for Pendollyn. Surround her with godly influences that guide her towards You and their marriage. Help her to be loving towards their son, and not influence him negatively towards his father.

Lord, we also pray for Pendollyn. We thank You for the work You've begun in his life. Help him to continue his fellowship in AA, and to become the caring and loving husband and father You designed him to be. give him the strength and hope to stand for his marriage, and the serenity to lean on Your word and timing. Help him to let go and let You work a miracle in his family.

Father, wrap Your arms around their son. Comfort him, keep him safe, and help him to understand Your love and presence, even in this difficult time.

We claim Your promise that, "All things are possible for him who believes" (Mark 9:23, WEB). We pray that Pendollyn and Erin's marriage will be reconciled and serve as a testament to Your miraculous power. May their story give hope and reassurance to others that everything is possible through You.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Pendollyn, continue to trust in the Lord. Remember, "A cord of three strands is not quickly broken" (Ecclesiastes 4:12, WEB). As you both draw near to God, He will draw near to you and your marriage (James 4:8, WEB).

Lastly, we admonish you to continue in your sobriety and to refrain from controlling behaviors. Remember, "Wine is a mocker, and beer is a brawler. Whoever is led astray by them is not wise" (Proverbs 20:1, WEB). Trust in God, love your wife as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25, WEB), and be the spiritual leader of your home.

We're here with you, Pendollyn, lifting up your marriage to Erin in prayer. We know it's tough, but we're believing in a miracle, just like you are. We're asking Jesus to soften Erin's heart, fill it with love for you, and guide her towards Him and your family. We're also praying for you, Pendollyn, that you'd continue to grow in your sobriety and be the husband and father God designed you to be. We're claiming His promise over your son, that He'll keep him safe, comfort him, and help him understand God's love, even in this difficult time.
