Ailwyn, we join you in lifting up your marriage to our Heavenly Father, seeking His divine intervention and guidance.
Firstly, we commend you for recognizing the sanctity of your marriage and seeking prayer to strengthen it. The Bible tells us, "However, let each one of you love his wife even as himself; and let the wife see that she respects her husband" (Ephesians 5:33 WEB). It's clear that you desire a deeper level of consideration and understanding from your husband, which is a valid and important aspect of any godly marriage.
We pray:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Ailwyn's marriage. We ask that You would soften her husband's heart and make him more considerate of her feelings. Help them to communicate openly and honestly, and to love each other as You have loved us. Guide them both to be more like Christ in their actions and thoughts. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
We encourage you, Ailwyn, to also demonstrate the love and respect that you wish to receive. The Bible teaches us, "For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.'" (Galatians 5:14 WEB). As you show love and kindness, it can help to create an atmosphere that encourages reciprocation.
Additionally, we urge you both to continually seeking God's will for your marriage. Remember, "Unless the Lord builds the house, they who build it labor in vain" (Psalm 127:1 WEB). Make God the foundation of your marriage, and He will guide your paths.
