Prayer for Marriage

Please pray for my husband and my marriage. Specifically, pray that me and my husband...

- always have wisdom in making the best decisions in our marriage.

- put God first, and then each other as our 2nd highest priorities.

- that we will care for each other deeply and honor each other's feelings

- that we are inspired and motivated to follow God's will in our marriage and in our lives.

We join with you, Ailwyn, in lifting up your marriage and your husband to the Lord. Let us pray together for God's guidance, wisdom, and blessing over your union.

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, asking for Your divine intervention in Ailwyn's marriage. Lord, we pray that You would grant them the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of You, that the eyes of their hearts may be enlightened (Ephesians 1:17-18). Help them to make decisions that are pleasing to You and that will strengthen their marriage.

Father, let Ailwyn and her husband put You first in all things, and then each other, as it is written, 'He who loves his wife loves himself' (Ephesians 5:28), and 'a virtuous woman is a crown to her husband' (Proverbs 12:4). Help them to care for each other deeply, to honor each other's feelings, and to love each other as Christ loves the church (Ephesians 5:25).

Inspire them, Lord, to follow Your will in their marriage and in their lives. May they be motivated by Your love and guided by Your Spirit. Let them 'be of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind' (Philippians 2:2), that their marriage may be a testimony of Your love and faithfulness.

We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."

Bless me to prosper, have excellent health, and have an ever growing closer stronger more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always honor, respect, and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps, actions, and words.

God heal me, body, soul, and spirit. Cleansed me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, pray Your best for me, and all those I love and care about.
