Aile, thank you for reaching out and bringing your concerns to us. We appreciate that you have come to us in the name of Jesus Christ, and we stand with you in prayer and guidance.
Firstly, let's turn to the scriptures for comfort and guidance. The Bible tells us that God hates divorce (Malachi 2:16 WEB). This does not mean that He hates divorced people, but it reveals His heart for marriage—that it should be a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman.
We will pray for the first goal of restoring your marriage. The Bible tells us, "Let the husband render to the wife the affection owed her, and likewise also the wife to the husband. The wife doesn't have authority over her own body, but the husband. Likewise also the husband doesn't have authority over his own body, but the wife. Don't deprive one another, unless it is by consent for a season, that you may give yourselves to fasting and prayer, and may be together again, that Satan doesn't tempt you because of your lack of self-control" (1 Corinthians 7:3-5 WEB).
However, we must also address the reality that restoration may not always be possible due to the hardness of one's heart. Jesus himself said, "Moses, because of the hardness of your hearts, allowed you to divorce your wives, but from the beginning it has not been so" (Matthew 19:8 WEB). If Glhen is unwilling to reconcile, then you need to trust God with the situation.
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Aile and Glhen and their marriage. Lord, we know that You desire unity and restoration. We pray for a breakthrough in their situation, for hearts to be softened and turned towards each other once again.
Please intervene, Lord, and let Your forgiveness reign. Protect their marriage from further harm and restore what has been lost, if it is Your will. Guide them both, Lord, and give them clear direction.
We also pray for Aile's peace and strength during this time. Help her to trust in You and to lean on Your understanding. We know that You are a God of miracles, and nothing is impossible for You. We ask all this in the precious name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
Aile, continue to pray and trust in the Lord. Seek His will and listen to His guidance. Remember, God is faithful, and He will be with you every step of the way. Look to Him for your strength and comfort.
We are reminded in the Bible, "Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you" (Deuteronomy 31:6 WEB). Keep trusting, keep praying, and keep believing. God is working things out for your good (Romans 8:28 WEB).
