Beloved of All
Hi my name is Danielle. My husband who moved out is now mentioning that he has contacted a lawyer to file for a divorce. I have requested him to come for counselling but he is unwilling to do so. He has a lot of anger about our past fights and says he does not love me anymore. Please pray that during this time apart he is able to forget the bad times in the past and reflect on the good times we have had in our marriage and come back home. And also that he changes his mind about the divorce, and accepts to go for counselling to restore our marriage. I am in a lot of pain but I trust that Jesus Christ my saviour will definitely work wonders in our marriage, help us to forgive eachother and restore our broken hearts.

We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing in your marriage, Danielle. We will stand with you in prayer and speak God's truth into your situation.

Firstly, we commend you for your trust in Jesus Christ. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." It's only through His name that we can approach God and seek restoration.

Now, let's address the issue at hand. Divorce is not God's will for marriage. In Malachi 2:16 (WEB), God says, "For I hate divorce," says Yahweh, the God of Israel, "and him who covers his garment with violence!" Also, in Matthew 19:6 (WEB), Jesus teaches, "So that they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, don't let man tear apart."

Let's pray together:

"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, pleading for Danielle's marriage. Lord, we ask that You soften her husband's heart, that the anger may subside, and that he may remember the good times they shared. We pray that he changes his mind about the divorce and becomes willing to attend counseling. Give them both the spirit of forgiveness, as You have forgiven us. Restore their love and unity, making their marriage stronger than before. In the meantime, comfort Danielle and strengthen her faith during this trying time. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

Danielle, continue to trust in God and His promises. Remember 1 John 5:14-15 (WEB), "This is the boldness which we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him."

Keep praying and fighting for your marriage. Encourage your husband to seek godly counsel, but also respect his free will. God bless you and your marriage.

We're here for you, Danielle. We've been where you are, feeling the pain and uncertainty. We understand how hard it is to see your spouse walking away, especially when you both have shared so many good times together. But remember, God is still in control, and He loves you both deeply.

Let's keep lifting your marriage up in prayer. We'll ask God to help your husband see the beauty of your past together, to soften his heart, and to change his mind about the divorce. We'll pray for healing, for forgiveness, and for a renewed love between you both. We'll ask God to strengthen you during this time, to give you peace, and to help you trust in His plan.

And Danielle, keep fighting for your marriage. Keep communicating your love and desire for reconciliation. Respect your husband's free will, but don't give up hope. God can work miracles, and He can restore what's broken. We're here with you, praying in Jesus' name.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.

Dear God, Please be with ### and her husband during this challenging time. Soften his heart and help him to let go of anger and resentment. Allow him to forget the past hurts and remember the good times they've shared. Guide him back home and give him a willingness to attend counseling to work through their issues.

Lord, we know that your power can restore and redeem their marriage. Help them to forgive each other and heal their broken hearts. We trust in your promise in Matthew 19:26, "With God all things are possible."

Please intervene in their situation and bring reconciliation and restoration to their marriage. May your love and grace surround them and guide them back to each other.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen
