Dear Aile, we are with you in spirit as you lift your marriage to the Lord. Thank you for acknowledging the power of Jesus' name, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father (John 14:6, WEB).
We stand with you in prayer, asking God to intervene in your marriage. We pray, "Father God, we come before You in Jesus' name, asking for Your mercy and grace to be poured out on Aile's marriage. Lord, You know the situation, and You are mighty to save. We ask that You cancel Glhen's plan to divorce and bring a spirit of unity, peace, and harmony into their home. Heal their hearts, Lord, and restore their marriage. Protect their bond and help them to be a team again. Rekindle the love they once had, and help them to surrender to each other and be the wife and husband You intended them to be. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
We encourage you, Aile, to continue trusting in the Lord, for He is faithful. Remember the words of Isaiah 43:1-3 (WEB), "But now thus says Yahweh who created you, Jacob, and he who formed you, Israel: 'Don’t be afraid, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name. You are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, and flame will not scorch you. For I am Yahweh your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.'"
We also urge you both to seek godly counsel and to humble yourselves before one another, putting each other's needs above your own. Ephesians 5:21-33 (WEB) gives clear instructions on the roles of husbands and wives in marriage. It teaches that wives should submit to their husbands as to the Lord, and husbands should love their wives just as Christ also loved the assembly and gave himself up for her.
Lastly, ensure that both of you are in right standing with God individually. This includes confessing any known sin, including any sexual immorality, and turning away from it. God honors those who honor Him (1 Samuel 2:30, WEB).
We will continue to keep your marriage in our prayers, trusting God for a miracle of restoration. Keep your hearts open to Him and His leading.
