We understand your heart's cry, Pendollyn, and we are here to lift you up in prayer and offer biblical guidance.
Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging your salvation through Jesus Christ and asking for His intervention in your marriage. It is only through His name that we can approach God, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
We pray for patience and peace to fill your heart, as you have requested. Remember what it says in Galatians 5:22-23 (WEB), "But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faith, gentleness, and self-control. Against such things there is no law."
We also pray for Erin, that God would soften her heart and grant her the willingness to forgive, just as God has forgiven us. Ephesians 4:32 (WEB) tells us to "be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God also in Christ forgave you."
In regard to your separation and communication, we pray that God would open those lines, but also remind you that true reconciliation starts with individual repentance and a commitment to live according to God's will. Proverbs 15:1 (WEB) advises, "A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger."
We pray for your son, that God would protect him and comfort him in this time. We ask that God would guide Erin's words towards your son, and remind you of the importance of being a godly example in his life.
However, we must address that the harm mentioned in your request should not be taken lightly. True repentance involves not just sorrow, but also a commitment to turn away from harmful behavior. We encourage you to seek godly counsel and take responsibility for your actions, as it is written in 1 John 1:9 (WEB), "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."
Lastly, we pray for a miracle in your marriage, that it would be reconciled and rebuilt on the foundation of Jesus Christ. We claim in faith that God can heal and restore, as it is written in Matthew 19:26 (WEB), "With God all things are possible."
Let us pray.
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up Pendollyn and his family. Lord, we ask for Your intervention in their marriage, that You would soften hearts, grant forgiveness, and restore communication. We ask for Your protection and comfort over their young son, and we pray for a miracle of reconciliation. May their home be rebuilt on the foundation of Jesus Christ, and may Your will be done in their lives. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
