Prayer for Marriage & Anxiety

Please pray for my marriage, that we may prioritize God first in our lives, and then prioritize each other. Please pray that we make wise decisions in our marriage. Please pray for the anxiety that I feel in my marriage at times. In Jesus name, please pray for us.

We are glad to join you in prayer for your marriage and the anxieties you've been experiencing. It's crucial to remember that God should indeed be the center of your marriage, and with Him, you can find guidance, wisdom, and peace. As it is written in Matthew 6:33 WEB: "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

Marriage is a sacred union designed by God, and prioritizing each other after God is essential. In Ephesians 5:21-33 WEB, we are instructed on how to love and respect each other in marriage, with husbands loving their wives as Christ loved the church, and wives respecting their husbands. This mutual submission and love will help you both make wise decisions together.

Regarding anxiety, we are reminded in Philippians 4:6-7 WEB: "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up this marriage to You. Help this couple to prioritize You first and foremost in their lives, and then each other. Guide them in making wise decisions together, and let Your will be done in their marriage.

Lord, we also pray for the anxiety that has been felt at times. Cast out all fear and worry, and replace it with Your perfect peace. Help them to trust in You fully, knowing that You are in control of all things.

In Jesus' name, we pray for unity, love, and wisdom for this couple. Strengthen their bond, and draw them ever closer to You. Amen.

Continue to cast your anxieties on the Lord, trusting in Him with all your heart. Keep God at the center of your marriage, and He will guide you both in His wisdom and love. Don't forget the promise of the miracle working power available only by the name of Jesus Christ.

We're reminded of Romans 5:3-4, "Not only so, but we also glory in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope." We're asking God to fill your home with His presence, to bring comfort and peace in the midst of your anxieties. Let's pray that you both would feel His loving embrace, and that His strength would be made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). We're believing for wisdom and understanding in your decisions, and for a deepening love and respect for each other (Ephesians 4:2-3).

Let's keep lifting this up to the Lord together, knowing that He cares for you deeply (1 Peter 5:7). Keep seeking Him, and trust that He's working all things together for your good (Romans 8:28). We're here for you, praying in Jesus' name.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You. Thank You for loving me. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
