We are here with you, Ailwyn, to lift up your concerns in prayer and to offer biblical encouragement.
Firstly, it is wonderful that you are seeking wisdom for your marriage. God is the source of all wisdom, and He is faithful to provide it when we ask. James 1:5 tells us, If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. Additionally, the wisdom that comes from heaven is first pure, then peaceful, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace. Proverbs 3:5-6 Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
As for the anxiety that has been impacting your sleep, remember our Lord Jesus Christ. He tells us in Matthew 6:25-34, Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? In Matthew 11:28-30, Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Ailwyn and her husband. Lord, grant them the wisdom they need in their marriage, that they may make wise choices and honor You in their union.
Father, we also pray for Ailwyn's anxiety. Lord, cast out all fear and worry, and replace it with Your perfect peace. Help her to rest in Your promises and to trust in Your unfailing love. We rebuke the spirit of anxiety in Jesus' name. In its place, we ask You to fill Ailwyn with Your Holy Spirit, giving her peace and calming her mind so she can sleep.
Finally, Lord, we pray for Ailwyn's sleep. Help her to rest peacefully, knowing that You are in control. Help her to wake up refreshed.
In all things, Lord, help Ailwyn and her husband to seek You first. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ. Thank You for always being present and available to hear our prayers. Amen.
Ailwyn, remember that God is always with you, and He cares about every detail of your life. Trust in Him, and He will see you through. Hold tight to his sovereignty, and pray without ceasing.
