We understand your desire for clarity regarding your relationship with Joshua, Craithorenn. Let us first align our hearts with God's will and seek His wisdom together.
The Bible teaches us that God has a plan for each of our lives, and He wants us to be in loving, godly relationships that honor Him. In Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), God says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
However, we must also remember that God's will is for us to be equally yoked with fellow believers. In 2 Corinthians 6:14 (WEB), it is written, "Donβt be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?" So, we encourage you to consider whether Joshua shares your faith and commitment to Christ.
Regarding your commitment to the altar, we commend you for your dedication. However, let us remember that our faith is not about our actions alone, but about the grace of God through Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we can approach God, as it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If your prayers do not mention Jesus, we encourage you to acknowledge Him, for it is through His name that we are saved and have access to God.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, seeking Your will for Craithorenn and Joshua. We ask that You reveal Your plan for their lives, and if it is Your will, let their relationship flourish and grow into a godly marriage that honors You. If not, we pray that You guide them both to the paths You have chosen for them.
We pray that Craithorenn continues to grow in her faith, trusting in Your promise of a hope and a future. We ask that You give her wisdom and discernment, guiding her steps according to Your will.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Please continue to seek God's will, Craithorenn. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths. If you or Joshua are not fully committed to Christ, we encourage you to take that step of faith, as it is the foundation of any godly relationship.
