We understand that you are facing a difficult situation at your workplace, Khugowe, and we are here to pray and provide biblical guidance for you. We will start by been reminded that it is by the name of Jesus we have access to God. You did not mention the name Jesus, Jesus Christ, or Christ so we are praying and discussing it with you. But first we want to understand and address your request about your workplace.
Firstly it is important to understand that peoples words and actions come from the beliefs of their heart. Also it is important to understand that people who are not believers in Jesus are being blinded in the things they say and do by the Devil, Ephesians 2:2 WEB where the apostle Paul says, "at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of the promise, having no hope and without God in the world." This is a pretty bleak situation for them.
In this situation, we are called to be lights of the world, shining examples that they will be able to see and glorify God.
By the words that come from your mouth your heart is revealed and it is shown that good and evil come from it, Luke 6:45 WEB "The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings out that which is good, and the evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings out that which is evil, for out of the abundance of the heart, his mouth speaks."
Turning to the situation at work we see that the words of Jesus said in Matthew 15:19 WEB: "For out of the heart come forth evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, sexual sins, thefts, false testimony, and blasphemies."
Also by the words of their mouth they are judged as they are a reflection of the heart. It is by their words that they are judged in the flesh also that they can be judged and will need to make restitution. Wether or not God will punish them directly is under debate but what is clear is that God allows sinners to be punished under the laws of man, their words and deeds that are evil are punished by the laws of man. 1 Peter 4:15 WEB "Make sure that none of you suffers as a murderer, or a thief, or an evildoer, or a troublesome meddler." It is only by the grace of God and by his merciful sense of time that they are allowed to spend the rest of their consciousness in punishment for the evils they do. Again if this actually happens cannot be determined but God will make them pay restitution. Acts 3:19-21, WEB. "Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord, 20 and that he may send Christ Jesus, who was ordained for you before, 21 whom heaven must receive until the times of restoration of all things, which God spoke long ago by the mouth of his holy prophets."
There are very many instructions similar to this in the bible. We should seek to live at peace with others wherever is possible, but to do this it will require forgiveness, repentance and faith in Jesus as a non believer will not be at peace with you for long.
Regardless of how things are at work you are supposed to pray for them and to bless them. If one of them is a believer in Jesus then you can do this as a chance to bring them back to God after repentance.
However, if they are not a believer in Jesus using the word bless may be seen as harsh or confronting as it is reminding them that blessings will only come from God and Jesus. So do not use the word bless! Use the prayer to remind God to provide what they need and to remind them about Jesus' gift.
Do not pray for worldly peace for them. If they are believers then you can and you should be praying for them to have peace with God. Finally we turn to scripture and prayer. Firstly we look at Romans 12:17-19. Paul is writing.
WEB,"Definitely do not repay anyone evil for evil. Respect what is honorable in the sight of all men. 18 If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men. 19 Do not seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to Godโs wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"
Lets Praise and Pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come together in the name of Jesus, thanking you that you sent your son to pay for our sins and to be our mediator that we have a way back to you. You are Holy, and Righteous, and are slow to anger but you are patient and compassionate. We are able to be forgiven through Jesus. We should not have to suffer for our wrongs and sin. So Father, supply our need to be sinners. Supply what needs to be paid for the wrongs of people in your son Jesus' gift to us. May the impact of your word spread through those that are in this difficult circumstance. Enable Khugowe to give account to his team lead and coworkers about their need to repent and turn to Jesus.
And so Father by our Power and Authority in Jesus, we are declaring war, an attack against the gradual decline by the father of this world's power in their life and in this situation. We rebuke and cast it out of them in Jesus Name. Also Father we declare war and rebuke any naysayers spirit or rebellious spirit that is present in them, any generational spirit that is at play in this bitter situation, any spirits that are working to control them in ways that are not godly, we bind them and send them back to the father of this world, being first cut off from each team members life or anyone else who may be supplying its control and demand it departs. This is not a request to You to do this but a command by us to any evil spirit to stop! It is only by Jesus that we have the power and authority to do this.
Father we must ask and stand firm that you provide what each person needs. You know what this is, and we may not. Also continue to teach us what you want us to do and to learn. Jesus paid so we understand some of where you are coming from. To their work place we must ask that you provide a need to to turn to Jesus and the spirit of grace and truth that comes with it.
To complete this time together we as believers pray, please ask if not yet a Christian believer that the other believers at work and their team lead turn to Jesus. It is by Jesus to ask God to supply the need to be forgiven. Jesus was asking us to pray to God in Jesus name to supply each believers need to repent or see God's will and not the ways of man. The whole of scripture is God's way of explaining this to us in many many examples. It is by Jesus Christ that sins are forgiven. The only way to the father is by Jesus Christ. If anyone has sin in their life and is reading this then you need to stop and repent. To repent simply ask God to give you the repentance that necessarily leads to salvation through Jesus his son. Jesus was tortured and punished not for what he had done but for what we did. Also what we are still doing by not repenting and turning to him.
If you have never yet turned to Jesus ask God to supply the need, belief coupled with repentance. So each of us needs to ask are we believing in Jesus and with the belief repenting of our sins. So Father in Heaven please supply their need and may our Fathers will be done.
