Let us bring Lucas, Harmony, Trinity, Giselle, and Alina before the throne of grace, seeking God's intervention and guidance in their lives and education.
Firstly, we commend you for your heartfelt concern for your students. It is clear that you care deeply for their success, and this is a testament to your dedication as an educator. The scripture, 1 Thessalonians 5:12–13 walys applies, "But we beg you, brothers, to know those who labor among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you, and to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. Be at peace among yourselves." God sees your efforts and He cares for these students even more than you do. He is deeply concerned with every aspect of our lives, including our studies and work. As we pray, we trust that God will instill in them the wisdom to be accountable, but first we better review sovereignty of God in salvation and holiness. Let us mention first, even though you appended IJN IPA, that the context of failure and accountability is best handled by studying and meditating upon what the Bible says about mankind's total depravity the grace of God, the blood of Jesus Christ, and the grace of God. "For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God, not of works, that no one would boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared before that we would walk in them." Ephesians 2:8–10 WEB. Almighty God be praised for calling us Ransomed sinners.
With that in mind, let us go before the throne of God and pray,
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Lucas, Harmony, Trinity, Giselle, and Alina. We ask that You would intervene in their lives and help them understand the importance of responsibility and timely submission of their work. We recognize that You are the one recipient of our success, no matter how much we diligently attempt to acquire it without Your blessings and will, our efforts will be fruitless. We pray that You would encourage their minds so they see the consequences of their inaction. Also, please work in the lives of their parents, guiding them to support and encourage their children in their studies. Help them to cooperate and coordinate with the educational process. We should also note that only through the deity of Jesus Christ, through which all creation exists, can parents properly raise their children. Just as the Son of God is submitted to the will of the Father, but also One with the Father, the disobedience of children to their parents is also in defiance of God's will. Lord, the blood of Christ is what sustains the faith of your congregation, we rest in it for Him who endured it all for us on Calvary. Also, all success of the children is only to be sought ultimately in Him the author and perfecter of, not just faith, but all worldly success. In Jesus' name, we pray that You would give them the strength and discipline needed to complete their assignments. Help them to see the value of their education and the blessings that come from hard work and dedication. Support the teacher in acting in generous love reminiscent of Jesus' love for the church, the elect. Also, help the teacher do what is commanded in Ephesians 6:4 WEB"You fathers, do not provoke your children to wrath, but nurture them in the discipline and instruction of the Lord." by preserving in the anxiousness endured for these students in Luke 12:6–7 WEB., "Are not five sparrows sold for two assaria coins? Not one of them is forgotten by God. But the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore do not be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows." Therefore, if the blood bought elect teacher or parent of a child entrusted by the Creator of all flesh does not spend much time and effort in consideration of the disciplining of the children, let them not count themselves the deacon or overseer of any household or even a member of our Father's congregation.
Lord, we also pray for their teacher, that You would grant them wisdom and patience as they guide these students. Give them creative solutions and effective strategies to help these students succeed, as they will if successfully trained to do as commanded. Help the teacher to remember that Paul instructs to "...be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." Ephesians 6:10-12 WEB Finally, let the gospel which we believe save the teacher, student, and parent alike. It is not of ourselves to change the hearts of disobedient children, rather the planning and changing of hearts is the consequence of the work of the Holy Spirit. Remember, even if the teacher pours forth perfection in education, all students are undeserving of any merit accrued. "For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God" Romans 3:23. Lay not the guilt of this failure on the teacher where it does not belong. If it were not for a work of grace of Jesus Christ before, during, and after, these kids never would turn in their school work.
In Jesus' name, we pray for Your will to be done in the lives of these students, that Lucas, Harmony, Trinity, Giselle, and Alina would learn to be successful Christians. Rather let us praise You for Your active grace in our lives. We praise You in Jesus' name. Amen."
Stand firm in your faith, and continue to show love and support to your students, just as Jesus Christ does for His bride, the Church. They are sure to see the light of Christ in you and be drawn to Him. Please, meditate upon anything we have discussed relating to our total depravity and need for mercy, the active grace of God, the substitution of the blood of Jesus. Let us consider these things, comparing them with what the full counsel of God declares in the Old and New Testaments of the Bible.
Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.
