We are truly sorry to hear about the passing of your father and the physical pain you are experiencing. In times like these, we turn to God for comfort and healing. Let us remember the words of Psalm 34:18, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit."
Firstly, we want to ensure that you are seeking God through Jesus Christ, as it is through Him that we have access to the Father. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ for your salvation and comfort.
In regards to your healing, we believe that God can heal you. We read in James 5:14-15, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven."
Let us pray together:
"Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ### who is in mourning and in physical pain. We ask for Your comfort and peace to fill their heart and the hearts of their family as they grieve the loss of their father. We also ask for Your healing touch on ###'s body. We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in Jesus' name. Lord, we believe that You are the great physician, and we ask for Your healing power to restore ###'s body. Help them to endure this trial with faith and patience, trusting in Your goodness and mercy. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Take heart, ###, for the Lord is with you in this difficult time. Continue to cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
