We are truly moved by Logan's story and are called to intercede for him. Let's begin by praying for his salvation, as it is only through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ that true healing and hope can be found.
Let us pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Logan. Lord, You know the pain and struggle he has been through, and You have not abandoned him. We pray that You will reveal Yourself to him in a tangible way, that he may come to know You as his personal Savior. We ask that You will soften his heart and open his eyes to the truth of the Gospel.
We also pray for Logan's earthly father, Matt. We ask that You will deliver him from his struggle with addiction and alcoholism, and that he may also come to know You as his Lord and Savior. We pray that You will restore the bond between father and son, and that Logan will be able to forgive and find healing from the past. For you have said, "Honor your father and your mother," which is the first commandment with a promise (Ephesians 6:2, WEB).
Lord, we ask that You will help Logan to overcome his fear of driving. We pray that You will give him courage and confidence, and that he may know that You are with him always. We ask that You will provide for his needs, and that he may find fulfillment in his work. We pray that You will surround him with kind souls who will love and inspire him, and who will point him to You.
We also pray for Logan's past hurts. Lord, You know the deep wounds that he carries from his childhood. We ask that You will heal those wounds and that he may know Your unfailing love for him. We pray that he will find hope and purpose in You, and that he will be transformed by Your love.
We ask all of this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Logan's struggle to believe in God is understandable given his past, but we know that God is pursuing him and loves him deeply. As it is written, "But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."" (Romans 5:8, WEB). Let us encourage Logan to seek God with all his heart, and to trust that He will be found.
Logan's past is a difficult one, but we know that God is a redeemer. We trust that God can use Logan's story to help others who have been through similar circumstances. We encourage Logan to press on and to not give up hope. As it is written, "Let us not be weary in doing good, for we will reap in due season, if we don't give up."" (Galatians 6:9, WEB). We are praying for you, Logan.
