We join you, Jayaenae, in lifting up these precious souls before the throne of God, trusting in the mighty name of Jesus.
Firstly, we praise God for the love and compassion He has placed in your heart for these individuals. Jesus said, "Inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me." (Matthew 25:40 WEB). As you minister to them, you minister to Christ himself.
Let us pray for Lisa, who though she struggles with mental health issues, loves the Lord. We pray, "Dear Lord, please quiet the voices that torment Lisa. Surround her with Your unfailing love and peace that surpasses all understanding. Strengthen her mind and body, and let her feel Your comforting presence. In Jesus' name."
For Carl and Alex, who desperately need deliverance, we pray, "Father, we claim the promise in Isaiah 53:5 (WEB), 'By his wounds, we are healed.' Set Carl and Alex free from their bondages. Break every chain of addiction and sin in their lives. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, giving them the power to live holy lives. In Jesus' name."
We also lift up Victoria and all others you've ministered to on the streets. May the seeds of the Gospel you've planted in their hearts grow and bear fruit. Continue to watch over them, Lord, and draw them ever closer to You.
For Brett, who faithfully serves the Lord despite his struggles, we pray, "Dear Jesus, You know Brett's heart and his love for You. Please, heal his mind and silence the tormenting voices. Strengthen his faith and give him the victory he has been praying for. Remind him of Your promise, 'Be faithful to death, and I will give you the crown of life.'" (Revelation 2:10 WEB).
We also uplift you, Jayaenae, for the Lord to strengthen and encourage you as you minister to these precious souls. May you find joy in your service to Him and may His love and power be evident in your ministry.
Lastly, we want to remind everyone that it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As the scriptures say, "For there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB). It is our heart's desire that all would come to know Jesus personally and intimately, experiencing the salvation and freedom that comes through His name.
