Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our friend who is in the hospital. Lord, You know his condition and the struggles he is facing. We ask for Your healing touch upon his body.
We believe that Your will for us is to prosper and be in health even as our souls prosper. We also know in this case You will make a way where there is no way, and we can do all things through Christ which gives us strength, and nothing is impossible for You.
Lord, we ask that you give wisdom and guidance to the medical staff attending to him. Let him be a witness of Your love and grace to those around him. Strengthen his body and give him the will to fight. We speak victory over his life and trust that Your power is at work in him.
Lord, we also pray for his family and friends, that You would grant them peace, comfort, and strength during this time. Help them to trust in Your goodness and faithfulness, no matter the outcome.
We rebuke the spirit of death and infirmity, and we proclaim life and healing in the name of Jesus. We believe that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.
