We are truly sorry to hear about L's situation and we are here to pray and offer biblical encouragement. Firstly, it is commendable that L has been saving for uncertain times, showing wisdom and foresight. However, we must remember that God is our ultimate provider and that we should trust in Him, even in difficult circumstances. As it is written in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
Therefore, I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient.
In this passage, Jesus teaches us to trust in God's provision and not to be anxious about our needs. Instead, we should seek first His kingdom and righteousness, and all these things will be added to us.
Let us pray for L:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up L. We thank You for the wisdom she has shown in saving for uncertain times, but we ask now that You would be her ultimate provider. We pray that You would comfort her in her depression and discouragement, and that You would give her peace and hope in You. We ask that You would provide for her needs and help her to trust in You. We pray that she would seek first Your kingdom and righteousness, and that You would guide her steps and open doors for her to find work in Jesus.
We also pray that L would be a good steward of the resources she has, and that she would use them wisely to provide for herself and take care of her financial obligations. We ask that You would give her wisdom and discernment in managing her finances, and that You would help her to be content with what she has.
Lastly, we pray that L would continue to grow in her faith and relationship with You, and that she would be a testimony of Your goodness and provision to those around her. We ask all these things in Jesus name, Amen.
We encourage L to continue to trust in God and to seek Him first. We also encourage her to reach out to her local church or Christian community for support and practical help. God bless her, and may she find peace and hope in Him.
