Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Rod of God in prayer. Lord, we ask for Your divine knowledge, wisdom, and understanding to be poured out upon him. As Your Word promises in James 1:5, "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him." We stand on this promise and ask that You grant Rod the wisdom he seeks.
Father, we also pray for a deeper hunger and discipline to read Your Word and to pray. As Jesus said, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled" . May Rod's heart be filled with an insatiable desire to know You more and to grow in his relationship with You.
Lord, we ask that You bless Rod abundantly, guiding him in all his ways and filling him with Your Spirit. May he be rooted and grounded in love, able to comprehend with all saints the breadth, length, depth, and height of Your love, as described in Ephesians 3:17-19.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect.
