Lorer, we have received your prayer request and we stand with you in this time of need. We understand that you are facing unemployment and the burden of providing for your family is weighing heavily on you.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is our provider and He knows our needs. As it is written in Matthew 6:25-34 (WEB):
"Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they? ... Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."
We encourage you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7).
Let us pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today to lift up our brother Shakeel Nasir. Lord, You know his needs and the burden he carries to provide for his family. We ask that You open the doors of opportunity for him. Guide him to the right job that will not only provide for his family's needs but also allow him to serve You and others. Give him the peace that surpasses all understanding, and help him to trust in Your perfect timing and provision. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Lastly, Lorer, we noticed that your prayer request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB):
"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
If you haven't already, we encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, for He is the only way to the Father (John 14:6).
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your heart and your thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
